Man, BCF is completely dried up for me. There are a few odd sized pants, and a couple XXL polos. But, not once this year did I see any shoes. I ended up passing on a few polos that I now regret. But, I did make out pretty good with pants and shirts this year. Hoping for better luck next year.

 

Yeah I grabbed every blade polo they had in my size to start the year and it's been nothing since. I feel like there are way less shoes in general compared to last year.

 

I kind of regret not picking up any of the blade polos. I tried them on and just didn't look right in them. I have to wear polos at work, and justifying the purchase because I can wear them for golf and work is paramount. I only bought 1 pair of shoes last year. Two years ago, I was able to get a few nice pairs. The BCF has really scaled back inventory this year. They have a lot of empty space in the store that wasn't there last year.

 

Yeah there really is a lot of emptiness in there compared to last year. Luckily I'm kind of between sizes with Nike so the blades had a more athletic fit so they work for me better than the standard ones. I ended up selling all of my shoes from last year other than my zoom 90s since I bought them just cause they were cheap instead of actually liking how the shoe fit.

 

The Zoom 90's aren't really my style. I don't think I could pull them off :) I think I walked away with 3 shirts and a pair of pants this year.

Having never seen any golf shoes in any Burlington, I came across these.. Nike Akamai spikeless in Paramount Blue/Volt/Metallic Silver. They are woman's size 10 but mis-marked as man's 7. 10 should be 8 actually... I really like the color so I scooped them up. Oh any 8 is actually my size.

Wore these for the first time for a round, and they are REALLY comfortable!! Course was soaking wet and I had no issue with traction whatsoever.

Reviving an old topic here but the 2 Burlingtons near me have gotten some long sleeve pullovers/quarter zips in. I saw some Aeroloft jackets, Dri-Fit crewnecks, and a few Shield jackets. For some reason they were all large or XL, didn't see anything smaller than that. Forgot to grab pictures though.

The Shield jackets are 40. I saw thunder blue and sequoia in those. Aeroreact quarter zips are 47. There was thunder blue and siren red.

I think I misspoke on the other jacket. It's an Aerolayer. Thunder blue and black in those. 80 bucks. Item #892132.

The aeroloft I saw was a vest for 50. Item 854534. But there was only one of those and it was XXL.

I found some black Nike TW 71s last Friday in my size for $24.99. Only golf shoes I saw in store. They had some long sleeve outerwear shirts.

I got a pretty good haul on Monday at BCF in Jacksonville.

Royal blue Vapors in my size. Only golf shoes they had which I never get that lucky.

Also got two pairs of TW pants. Dark gray and a dark blue. Left the army green ones. They had some Aeroloft polos.

Also, they got a large inventory of last years premium Jaguars and college Nike and NFL gear. Windbreakers, pullovers, sweatshirts.

The 2017 zoned jacket was hideous looking. Black with white shoulder/sleeves. Awful look. The 2018 version is MUCH better looking and can wear it off the course without having other people laughing behind your back.

 

Also picked up some blue LCV’s and saw a pair of TW71 black which I left.

I hear ya. I actually detest going to Burlington, at least here in SoCal. It’s really a free-for-all and you gotta get lucky. I found the aero layer jackets in the activewear and the aeroloft jacket on the floor as it had dropped from its hangar. But really they could be in any section. You gotta go thru everything and that’s where you find the gems.

 

I kinda programmed myself to look at the sleeves. On the zonal jackets the sleeves have a sewn pattern to them so I just look at that and it makes perusing so much easier and faster.

Did a quick pass thru both Ross and TJM today and other than a few UA pieces...both were empty for anything golf related with the swoosh on it. No golf shoes of any brand at all.

Just came home from Burlington. Found an Aeroreact polo for $29.99 that I snagged. Other than that there wasn’t a whole lot. Few polos in smaller sizes but no jackets that others have been seeing.
