Explain it to me like a child, please.

I just think the difference lies in the product.   Limited, high end things like Jordan's, Lamb markers, SWAG HCs, TW masters P7TW etc. kind of carry different interest and market here than a pair of regular Roshe's somebody got for 24.99 and is trying to "pass on".  I'd imagine posting more unique finds, such as those Magnolia Nikes, would be fine.

One of the things I do think that helps keep those high end things in the sweet spot of allowed, is that they never have clogged up the BST the way Ross stuff did back in the day.  So again, its a pretty similar practice but there is a big difference in the merchandise.

Disagree. I still fail to see the “big difference”. If anything, making $20+/- on a pair of shoes is far less objectionable, to me, than hundreds or thousands of dollars on other items.  Honestly, in my opinion, it has always reeked of sour grapes.

This was just my take, but I don't think profit/flipping was the real issue as there is really no way to know what anybody paid for anything.   But if you were around a couple years ago when the Ross/Burlington stuff first became a thing,  the BST was LOADED with that stuff quite a bit.  That is what I take is trying to be avoided.

If you think run of the mill Roshe's are not different than limited drop Jordan's I don't know what else to say.

They were made in the same factory in China or Bangladesh. And in what world is a milled ball marker or gaudy head cover considered high end?

Clearly here lol?  Seems to be a demand since that stuff sells pretty fast.

Not sure if you guys are on other internet golf equipment bst sites but they do get packed full of nike shoe flips every year. Is that a bad thing? Not my call. But it is not hard to find shoes somewhere else if you want them. And honestly, the whole "let us have a place to hook each other up" thing doesn't even work that well anyway, you wind up with a lot of people looking for a deal and not many people wanting to do the work without any incentive. You don't see as many trades as you might think.

There was a groupme thread going for a couple years that worked pretty well. I shipped out and received tons of pairs.

I have tried to leave some

for everyone, but when I was in Saturday, saw 2 60ish year old females with the eBay app out buying a buggy full of shoes to resale. No more mercy from me, I’m buying every pair in every size I see.

If only we had a page just for trading these ross deals, wed have an inventory and just be out shipping. I just want some cheap nike shoes to wear not flip. Im sure there are fb pages but with this site it would be easy to get everybodys sizes theyre after.

I'm in the D.C. Burbs.  I've gone to Ross, Marshalls, Burlington, and TJ Max. Multiple times over a few years.

I've seen exactly one RLX shirt. 0 golf shoes. 0 names brand golf apparel, beyond the typical, Callaway, Adidas, Nike, etc, shirts.

This must be limited to the the South and West where golf season lasts longer.

I’m not too far away in Va Beach, my guess is you have a flipper(s) get to them long before you see them and possibly working out a deal with the store.  I’ve seen and had pretty good luck a few years ago now not much.  On travel for work once in Maine I stopped at a Ross and it was a gold mine!!  So they are out there just now the word has spread and more players in the game for profit and less for actual use.

Yes, that's certainly possible.

Alright boys and girls- Looks like the flippers are finding Nike TP's (mostly solid black) in Ross. Get out there and take what's rightfully yours.

I made another run here in NE Atlanta this week and as I posted before, I definitely have a back door flipper. There is nothing to speak of in the 6 area Ross or 3 area Burlingtons. I mean nothing. Tons of Southern Tide, Nike, Adidas and Hickey gold shirts and some good PGA Tour shorts but no shoes. Guy lives about 20 mins from me and his posts keep popping up on my FB feed now with the 200-300 pairs of Nike/UA shoes he has for sale. I'd like to choke him.

So after checking Ross and Burlingtons regularly on my way home from from work I decided that F it, I'm done.  Was hoping to find a pair of Jordan 5's but knew it was a long shot. Just haven't been having any luck here in the Chicago area.

Yesterday morning I go to Burlington to return a Travis Matthew polo that I bought the day before and was gonna grab a pair Crocs for my son..........and BOOM!

Now those are flip worthy. I hope you enjoy wearing them or make a killing on them if selling.
