I consider that a win. You generally pay personal shoppers at least a little bit on top, grocery delivery, ubereats, etc. Great buy!

I finally gave in and gave the flippers $100. My FOMO got the best of me.

The flippers have been hitting it hard around here. Not to mention the South American tourists who come to Disney that load up suitcases full of stuff to bring back and sell over there. I've pretty much given up and if I get lucky while stopping in doing something else, cool.

I saw a ton of Nike Infinity G at a local Marshalls. This was the first golf shoe sighting I've had in a while, that said I passed on them because meh.

Found more locally. Cashier even mentioned that I beat the senior citizens group to them! Trying to find all my or golf buddies sizes but have no shame throwing the extras on eBay to fund other golf stuff for me.

Still not seeing much in Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts. A friend of mine has seen 2 pairs of the OG Zoom Infinity Tour color-way, but they were a 9 and 9.5. Unfortunately, I’m an 11. A few months back, Zoom Victory Tours were popping up sparingly in the all black and white and black croc color-ways. Extremely jealous of all the Air Max 1’s I’m seeing!

I’d be happy to share my eBay store here if allowed. About 3 of every 10 pairs make it there. I leave a handful of all I find in our country club pro shop for members I don’t even know. Hard to beat 33 per pair with tax. Most isn’t even worth trying on eBay. Add 13% eBay fees and shipping, especially if going west, and you are looking at $5-15 per pair profit. To me, that isn’t worth getting in the line at the post office. I find if I help friends and locals out, I get much much better deals on their used clubs. What I do sell is my stash for putters. Think of it this way, would you sell your house today for what you paid for it 15 years ago? Now shoes would rarely appreciate in value, but because you find a deal, does that entitle your buyer to the same deal. That isn’t how our country works thank god. I’ve given great deals to long time members here, but to see a new person join and make the number of posts required in 2 days just to sell in the BST should get no deals for existing here. The shoes can’t be sold here anyway and the long time members know how to text me and get what I have for cost plus shipping anyway. That list is around 10 members deep though.

As a Northern Californian I really, really, really hate this thread! We have 10+ of these stores locally and even more if you make a trek to the Bay Area (45 min). I have stopped in maybe 4 dozen times over the past 2 years and only once have I ever found anything. Thinking in order to score on these deals I need to just buy a Burlington location and start placing the merchandise requests myself!

Was at Ross today in IL and saw a couple of pair of React. Grabbed the 9.5 in black/red for my son for $30. The others were black in 8.5W.

 

They are also getting a few more TW polo shirts. Had the mock neck, but it was green so I passed.

Saw tons of Nike blade collar polos (24ea), and TW polos (24ea) in the locals, and a smattering of Adidas climachills (19ea).  Adidas ultimate 365 shorts  in TJ Maxx (20 ea?).

I giggle at the disdain for flippers in here and ways to defeat or demoralize them.... when its really just people getting beat to the punch lol.
