Luke Donald now a Jordan Brand Athlete

Recommended Posts

What is it with America’s obsession with basketball boots, Jordan and even basketball as a sport?

Add to US “football”, baseball, Fahrenheit, quarts, cups and the date round the wrong way

Mind you at least you have some uniqueness to your country in this homogenised planet we now live in

Every example that you’ve given is done better in the USA....

Football > Soccer

Baseball > Cricket

Fahrenheit > Celsius

Cups > Quartz

2-7-18 >>> 7-2-18

Just odd they are an older more conservative model that he may have chose himself based on comfort (st trainer of last year) while I don’t see Luke as a mid or high type Jordan guy....but who knows

could there be a more un-Jordan guy to wear the kicks? A posh english white guy in his 40's with a very dull game.

The Jordan’s in your avatar and the st trainer Luke is wearing are the only two pairs of I think 5 Jordan golf shoes I have I will actually wear to course. I like the idea of others, just not for me on course.

When will these shoes be released?

They were released, just different color way last fall? (ST trainer)

It would be great if these white leather ST Trainers get released. They are clean and would go with a lot of apparel set ups!

Yeah I wish they would release more original golf shoes like the Flight Runner. Hopefully these ST in white release. The retros are are for a pretty limited market, but the 3's look cool.

I think this is a buddy helping a buddy thing here.

Jordan Brand for basketball has a ton of stars, this is like a secondary market for them so why the requirement to grab a “star”to rep their stuff.

I do agree a guy like Finau would be a good fit if they also branched out into golf apparel en mass.

I mean, his cousin is already signed. Make it a family thing

Going from wingtips to Jordans is a pretty bold move. Good for Luke if he feels comfortable wearing them. I have a pair of the red and black ST Trainer golf shoes and they're great. Definitely geared towards a younger audience than Luke though. I'm 20 and I wear Jordans pretty much every day so I didn't hesitate to cop a pair when they first released golf shoes. Of course the only reason why they're a thing is because of Keegan and the exposure he gives them. Jordan should try to get Rickie to wear them and they'd be on every high school and college player's feet within a month or so.
