Mine showed up yesterday. Ordered mine from on Amazon. It came all wrapped up and yes had a slight discoloration on the face, but I simply rubbed it off with my hand and its all good. I can see this club being in the bag for a long time. I like the looks of it 100% better than the PM grind I owned when they first came out. The leading edge isn't "straight", but its pretty close. Just chipping around in my office I can tell there's a ton of promise in the club.

My order on TMAG site still says "Being Processed" - anyone else have that status?

Did they give you an eatimated ship time when you placed your order? Mine said March 8th when I configured it .....then I waited several hours before actually placing my order. Once I placed my order it changed my estimated shipping date to March 16th.

I ordered early on the 2nd and my order progress also has "Being Processed" listed on the order update page. My shipping date was March 8th. My fingers are crossed that this will be the actual date still.

For someone who wasn't a fan of the PM grind and tried two of them, I saw these in person finally and they are much better looking and the offset and leading edge is much improved over the Callaway. Hopefully they will perform better as well as I wasn't a fan of the bounce or turf interaction I got from the Callaway.

I saw them last night as well at my local Golf Galaxy. They look way better than the PM grind to me. Not as big, and the leading edge isn't as rounded as I expected...the head just looked more compact. I don't know if I'm going to buy one or not because I like my standard bounce 58* milled grind, and I didn't get along well with the ATV grind in previous models on 3/4-full shots. The extra bounce in the standard 58* works well for me with those shots.

I can understand why the TM staffers all added these wedges to the bag. Fantastic profile. You just drop the club onto the ball and it handles the rest. I picked up a 58 / 60 and 64, not sure what combo will go into the bag but these are a winner so far.

What are you playing for your other wedges? I'm torn between the MG's and SM 7s.

Currently have the TM Milled Grinds. Been doing either a 50 / 54 / 58 combo for the softer NorCal courses and a 52 / 56 / 60 combo for the AZ and PS courses.

Here's what I noticed so far with the Hi-Toes:

1) Heads feel a wee bit heavier than the normal Milled Grinds

2) I can hit stupid flop shots with that 64 degree

3) Put the 60 or the 64 way back in my stance and can hit low checking runners all day long

I think for the NorCal courses I will do the 50 / 54 / 58 Hi combo and for AZ & PS courses will do the 52 / 60 Hi and / 64 Hi combo. My buddies and I allow a rock club for the desert courses, no way I'm screwing up a brand new Hi Toe hitting out of some rocks or junk.

I play PM Grinds and wasn't thinking about switching at all until I saw these in person at a golf show these weekend. Looks wise they are night and day different than the PM Grind, they even look more compact overall. The PM grind is terrible to look at but it just works. These look like a "normal wedge" that was modified slightly, where as the PM grind looks like a completely different "type" of club if that makes sense.

Love my 58 so far. The similarities with the PM Grind stop at the full face grooves in my mind. The grind on the Hi Toe plays way different, the toe is not nearly as high as the PM Grind and the sole is completely different. I think this wedge actually adds some nice diversity to the lob wedge market. I loved my 58 PM Grind around the greens and on short pitches, but struggled to consistently hit full shots with it. The Hi Toe feels as good as my 52 Milled Grind wedge when it comes to full swings. Only time will tell if the shot making versatility around the greens is going to be there like the PM Grind. Because of the sole and lower toe, it's going to play different around the green, just not sure on better or worse yet.

The 58 heads are backordered now. I placed another custom order using the ebay discount code this week and got one with all custom specs for $135.99 shipped. The ebay seller emailed me and said Taylormade gave them a ship date towards the end of April for that order and I will receive it in early May. I placed my first order on March 3 and it gave me a shipping date around March 16. It still says “being processed”. Looks like they are selling more than they anticipated.

I love the look and the finish of these things. It's like a brushed finish that gives a similar look to the Titleist black copper wedges they released last year. I can't wait to take this thing out on the course.

FWIW, my order said "Being Processed" all the way up until I got a shipping notification. Had my wedge delivered a day earlier than I was originally quoted.

Will be playing the exact same set up. Played MG's all last year and love them. If the 790 50 doesn't sit well with me I may order a 52HB bronze and have them bend it 2 degrees weak.

Sounds like these are pretty versatile? I like to carry 2 wedges - 52 / 58 so wondering if getting a 58 high toe makes sense. I use my 58 mainly inside 80 yards and that includes making full swings at times.

What do you guys think

I play Callaway irons but custom ordered a P790 50 degree AW awhile back. I like it better than any AW that I have tried in the past two years.
