100 stroke golfer with potential to go lower to 90's, 80's. I'm about to grab some monthly lessons to fix myself. So looking for a partner to play with .

I'm mid 30's , pretty athletic, dedicated and love golf.

Might even like to join a club if under a grand a year. Anyone interested in playing in the Raleigh area or within an hour drive. Let me know.

Not sure what part of Raleigh you're looking at, but I just joined Eagle Ridge. It's part of the Fred Smith Company athletic membership - you get access to 4 total courses and the athletic clubs, pools, gyms and such. Pretty good deal. A little more than the grand, but it's worth it.

What kind of shape is Eagle Ridge in these days? I was told that conditions had deteriorated but that was some time ago.

Its in good shape, new greens got put in not to long ago and there has been constant improvement since I've been a part of the club. Also, getting new carts in April.

Once you get past that, and wondering "what's up with your hard to use website"? After that, the course looks nice.

I'm in the Raleigh area as well. I usually play at The Preserve (I live there) but always looking to try new courses out. I'm late 30's and usually score in the high 80's low 90's although I took a few months off so I'm looking to get some rounds in asap. I'm a late starter to golf so I haven't played many courses in the area.

Hey guys - long time member here. I live in Clayton at the Neuse but I usually play somewhere different every Saturday. If you ever want to play let me know - usually like to keep travel to an hour and never turn down a Tobacco Road trip.

 

Oh and for consistency purposes - I am a 32 y/o male who enjoys long walks on Saturdays and will usually make between 70-90 official swings depending on the week.

I would absolutely be down for a group at TR - usually play there 4-5 times a summer. If you’re a fan of Strantz - Tot Hill is a great track as well.

 

I am usually playing every Sat or Sun somewhere in the area - just hit me up!

Ive never had the opportunity to play either but I'm thinking this will be the summer

Whats up everyone. Have been a member for a while but have mostly lurked. In the Cary area and generally play lochmere as my home course. Always looking for someone or a group to play with as a generally go as a single or with my 5 year old and get paired up. Can shoot 70-90 on a given day. Would love to find some guys to play with. Also playing in the wake county amatuer in june. Is anyone else in the area planning on playing?

Welcome! That is quite the range of scores. :). My range is prob 10-15 higher than ya. Although I feel capable of 80’s... working on it. Nah I wish I could play in the amateur. That would be a blast. Been working on my swing this year, have not gotten much golf in. First it was irons, those are good, then fix the driver, which is hit or miss. Ahhh fun times in raleigh.

Yeah its a wide range. I dont practice near enough and pretty much only play so Im sure I could find a little bit of consistency by putting a little work in which Im planning on doing.

No worries, I was trying to be funny. Mine is a wide range also. I think Lochmere is doing a special $75 free in range balls if you buy $100. It was on golf now
