Yeah I emailed them and they got back to me really fast. Very in depth process. Pricing varies. If you are serious about purchasing a set email them..

I hope not quite PXG prices, at least where I am (Japan). I was in a golf shop today, and a guy came in waving a PXG wedge. The club builder I was talking to was well impressed, so I got talking to him about PXG. He told me that the RRP for 5i-PW is 800,000 yen. That's about US$7,300.

Couldn't believe my ears.

I cannot believe it. Too much a mark-up!

I thought I had misheard, but I checked it twice. I hope the actual retail price is cheaper. A PXG driver is a (relatively) reasonable US$1,800 or so. Bearing in mind that major OEM drivers with a shaft upgrade can be around $800+ here, that's not so bad!

Anyway, does that mean that NCW irons are cheaper? Because while I'm not especially interested in PXG, I AM interested in NCW.

Sound to me that prices in Japan are slightly higher than they are in the States........... ;)

I think there's an availability issue. Also, I'm not entirely sure my mate in the golf shop had got hold of reliable information, because secondhand prices on Japanese auction sites do not support that retail price.

Like blades? So do we.

That's why we offer our flatback raw heads in 2 different sizes (1 LH) - for Don White to have enough room to craft your unique muscleback project.

Standard model is 2.85" from crotch (face to hosel transition area) to toe, and the long face model is 3.25". Finished face lengths vary depending on toe shape selected. Both are about 150g over weight (for example the 5i starts at 405g) to start.

Rethink what "Custom" really means to you and your individual game.

Long day between work a.m. and golf outing p.m.! During . . . . new irons arrived!

Had to run back out to the course this evening to hit a few shots - first shot I dropped an 8 iron out about 140, a little uphill shot, choked down a hair because ball slightly above my feet, took a nice swing and . . . . (full disclosure, after that I got a little carried away and was pretty much out of gas so can't claim the rest of my shots were that good - shanked one, haha, and normally they aren't that good, but a couple were that good with the "Equalizer").

Thanks to Ari, Don, whomever did the chroming and to Will Peoples (The Peoples Clubs) for assembly! I will add some pics in the morning that do them justice. Just unbelievable craftsmanship.
