We all know a WRX 4 handicapper plays baby Miura blades, works the ball 4 ways, hit 245 yard 7 irons, only dates super models and can beat every LPGA player. Geez that sounds like you TB.

Alex Noren is looking good to win his first PGA Tour, I still think he lost the Farmers by going for eagle on the 72nd and not just lay up for a birdie.

Going to be an interesting weekend here. Some wind and rain coming in which always makes things interesting. Now mind you our Florida winds aren't even in the same league as Scotland or Texas but having played this course on a windy day I can attest - no wind it is hard. Wind and it is just impossible.

Even par is not a bad score, and being 3 off the lead is not a bad position, but there are so many golfers huddled together. I expect a few of them to shoot to the top, but it just won't be Tiger. He just isn't what he used to be, and no shame in that, but he is more of an average golfer on the tour these days.

Swing with the UDI looks solid.Driver doesn't look all that bad at all. He drops his head a little, but the swing is much more controlled than it was in 2013.

I know he has been healthy for a while now, but I keep expecting him to swing and then wince and put his hand on his back. Or watch him slowly get his ball from the bottom of the cup. Is it just me?

I grew up in Florida and spent the last 7-8 years of my time there living in South Tampa, about a block off the bay. It’s a very nice area of town, but there are a lot of low lying areas and it is heavily wooded with lots of huge oaks (I.e., mosquito heaven). If you didn’t have a screened in porch or pool, you didn’t go outside. We held a garage sale there before we moved and I remember helping folks carry a coffee table to their car that literally had a hundred or so mosquitos on it when we picked it up.

 

I’ve lived in Virginia for 5 years now and can’t recall being bit by a single mosquito. We spend all weekend outside. I had no idea people could actually do that when I lived in Florida!! Ha Ha!!

On a non related note, Bozzelli is about to shoot 67. Saw him at a range one day. The long irons he hit were impressive, to say the least. Came down like moonballs.

If Tiger doesn't learn quickly to cover the ball with his trailing shoulder and finish swinging left, not only will he continue to be erratic with his driver (low left/high right), but his back problems might flare up again - keeping that shoulder back like he does on some misses now results in a huge reverse C. (no bueno for lower back)

What happened to kisner yesterday ? Worst card I’ve seen lately. And I like the guy. At least props to him for not wd-ing like some others did yesterday.

Kisner is not focused on golf right now. He has a lot of extracurricular activities. Roughnrowdy fights for example.
