Phil is polarizing ... but you have to respect a man with abilities that have been so sharp for so long ... Nicklaus like to a degree

 

Especially his short game ... most guys past 40 lose it to some degree

After nearly falling out of the Top 50, Phil will move up to #17 in the world.

 

Phil stays at #9 all time with 43 wins. He needs two more to catch Walter Hagen.

 

Phil's gap of 27 years between first and last wins is bigger than Jack Nicklaus (25). Only, Sam Snead (30), Ray Floyd (30) and Davis Love III (29) are ahead of him.
