Being a glass half full kind of guy and never having really encountered any tour pros who were not nice, courteous and professional - how about the nicest guy I ran into.

 

Matt Kuchar. Said it before and will say it over and over. The man truly "gets it". His smile is infectious and genuine as is his love of the game.

I've met 5 of these 10 and can say that Tiger is for sure #1 most unfriendly out of the 5 I've met. I still love his game and root for him, but I would describe him as an introvert forced to be an extrovert. Almost socially awkward and uncomfortable in a non controlled or scripted situation. Duval is very dry and very dry humored. I could see where people would think he was aloof or rude. I actually found him charming in a dry humored sort of way. I've played golf with one of them, who I won't name or single out, but he is unquestionably the biggest crap talker and supremely confident person I've ever played with. I sort of enjoyed the banter but arrogant is definitely accurate. Haha.

yes it is a bit tough, but I did mention I didn't necessarily agree with the list. I think it would be interesting to see everybody's opinion on who they think would fit on the list.

99% here can only go by what they see on tv, maybe have gone to a tournament, but unless there's some kind of real life interaction it seems like a very hard judgement to make.

Player, the cheat needs to be on the list.

 

Hogans quite coinfidence could be seen as arrogance, should move down or even off the list.

Because few people here really know the pros "up close and personal". All you know is what you see. With a little careful editing the modern media can sway perceptions in any direction they may choose. Each and every professional mentioned here in this thread in a negative light has one thing that (again) few if any here have - enough talent to have made a living playing the game we all love.

 

Hope this one gets locked up before it goes too far.

Based on the definition of arrogance, I don't think the likes of Tiger/Jack/Hogan belong on the list. They back it up with their accomplishments. People like Poulter? Not so much.
