I never gamed one myself, but I remember the promo material when that line came out it featured Ryan putting it straight in the bag, kicking out his previous beat up 5 wood. I guess he still likes it!

I believe those are the 710s (my favorites of the AP2 series), the second in the series of AP2 releases. The 2008 versions were the first but I don't think Titleist gave them the "700 series" stamp at that point.

 

But yeah, you're right, they're old school and awesome!

Did he find that 6-iron during practice on the course? (Sarcasm) Will it get returned to its rightful owner??...J/K...the stories of someone leaving an oddball club (i.e. 6-iron, PW, or some other club belonging to a set) and not getting it back baffle me...not that keeping anyone’s club is acceptable, but could see a dishonest person forgetting to drop off that Vokey at the pro shop, the other clubs; why?!?

Am I the only one that wants to see the wear spots on the faces of those 710 AP2’s? Which were about 1,000 times better than the original release.

He gave me a Adams Insight 14.5° Tour prototype 3 wood a couple years back, has a similar shaft in it. He swears by Accra. He routinely hits that club 280. Ive known him for a while, been buddies and club swappers for quite some time now.
