Kelly Tilghman Leaving Golf Channel

Recommended Posts

She's a Myrtle Beach local, (from a very prominent family) so I always wanted to like her work. She sure knew how to suck up to Arnie... Her job was secure as long as he was around. LOL. Only thing more bland then her studio work though, was listening to her or Rich Lerner fawn over every player from the booth. She had a good run, nobody will remember her much after she's gone though.

"She sure knew how to suck up to Arnie"???

So says the 13~ cap with the fictitious user name, no avatar from behind the safety and anonymity of a keyboard, lol

"Nobody will remember her much"

Ironic though the same can be said for you two months and 74 posts in, lol

The only thing more bland than your initial post was your subsequent attempt to get sarcastic and cute with a respected established 3000+ post member of the board~

Welcome to the board champ ;)

You need to get over yourself a little bit, my man. Apparently I don't meet your required level of "street cred" necessary to have an opinion here. Thankfully though, yours is not an opinion that matters at all to me. You and some others might fancy yourselves quite the "bards" here, but you sadly come off instead as pompous wanna be guardians of the gate. BTW, if you read the entire thread, I think you'll find my comments pretty well received, which you must find quite annoying from atop your high horse. Thanks, though for the advice and the warm welcome, champ.

You don't know what you're talking about. The guy you're attacking has forgotten more about this game then you will ever know.

If he says you might be wrong then I suggest you give it a hard think before you attack.

You two are doing your best to turn a non issue into a problem, probably out of boredom. I don't know or care why actually. However, I'm not really interested in engaging with and certainly don't have anything to learn from either of you at my age.

No harm no foul Gents

Thanks much for your support

Blink is wayyyyy too kind as I’ve just plain forgotten a lot.

John, in all seriousness, I wish a great season and I hope that you enjoy the board, a lot of great Gals & Gents.

Oh, and that’s fine if ya wanna refer to me as “Champ,” though it’s with an upper case “C”

Stay well My Friends

Goodie for you. At your age, whatever age that is, you have nothing more to learn.

I'll be sure to follow you, because, like my colleague, RP - Forged4ever- we admit that while we have eons of life experience, we call still learn.

Best of luck to you, as Me thinks you gonna need it in life

I scratched my head when GC fired Stephanie Sparks (I always liked her)...and kept Kelly for so long.

But as we all know..."It's not what you know, but who you know".....and Arnie protected Kelly.

22 years is a long tenure in today's working world....especially in the private sector.

Sparks....mmmmmmmm.

Kelly was always very nice in my dealings with her. Wish her good luck.

No kidding on Sparks, recorded Bobby Jone SoG this weekend to catch her few minutes of screentime!

Always like Kelly, she's OG and did a good job... haven't seen much of here the past few years but enjoyed most of the original crew.

Don't mean to sound like a troll, but honestly I never gave tv analysts/announcers for any sport any thought either positively or negatively before joining WRX. Meanwhile everyone here rages about tv personalities, and I don't get it. What's wrong with me?

Many broadcaster talk way to much. I turn on Alexa music and watch golf with no volume. I never turned down K Tillman
