Cool of Bubba to wait around to congratulate him. Have come to expect Rickie to do that, he's a classy kid. Hope he gets one soon.

I think Rick picks up a Claret Jug first

I agree. He's so damn close. 2018 Open champion RF.

Hope you guys are right. Plus, any extra air time his GF gets is a bonus.

I’m guessing Spieth and Thomas were somewhere close to offer congratulations too, cameras just weren’t around. Lot of good kids in the mix right now.

This just happened:

When Sergio put the green jacket on Pat my wife says "That's the most expensive jacket they ever had to make because they used so much fabric." The best part is I didn't even have to tell her that we don't like Pat.

lol good one. Maybe introduce her to some history.

Some of you act like hes pushing three bills. He has made more money than most people will ever see in multiple lifetimes, is a major winner and a better golfer than anyone on this site but hey lets mock him for a few pounds.

She was just joking, brah!

Nice win by Reed, major caliber player even before hand

Spieth provided the days most excitement.

Rory trash talk getting old

Tiger could trash talk and back it up.

I think Rors was humbled once again by Augusta and the fact that a career grand slam is the hardest thing to accomplish in golf. Phil is the greatest example of this with six 2nds in US Opens

Patrick isn't half the girth of Craig Stadler...

Lol. It just made me laugh because she had no idea who Pat was before about ten minutes ago.

And?

It was a joke buckeye. You'll forgive me if you don't find it funny, I'm sure.

Yeah, Reed is obese and the world is flat.

Seriously what is he? 5’10” 210 lbs? Not exactly obese. Just a bit pudgy.

Back in my day, we called folks built like Patrick "husky" and it wasn't an insult either. I wonder what these same folks would say about Jack Nicklaus in his prime?

I was thinking something similar earlier...not only the pressure to win a major, but the pressure of winning the grand slam too. Rory admitted that he thinks about it a lot.

Jack in 1967 at age 27, same as Reed

Fowler had a great final round. Perhaps this will be a sign of things to come?

Fowler and Speith played great. Reed was just too far ahead at the start.

I think we all knew that someone(s) would make a charge, props to Reed for holding it off. He could have easily folded, but he didn't. I think many of us were surprised by McIlroy's play.

I think Rors will eventually win a green jacket. But I wouldn’t be surprised Jordan gets a career grand slam first. He seems like the type that thrives on pressure like that

Well back in the day(1950’s) he’d be clinically obese. But lucky for him America is now the most overweight country on earth so he’s just husky.

My dad calls him Fatrick. But I would never mention that on an Internet forum.

What about Rory? I get that your going to make mistakes during a tournament but to just be flat for the whole round leaves something to be desired. I’m a fan of Rory as I was of Greg Norman and it just sucks that they consistently can’t finish off majors when they possess so much talent. He wants to be considered among the all time greats of the game but to me he gave up on himself today especially after 9. You didn’t see that out of Jordan, he kept at it. Unfortunately I will continue suffering along with Rory and under performing efforts.

Of course not. You're much more discerning than that. Lol.

Bubba almost a lock for the Ryder Cup now, good move up the list for Rickie too

..........and of course Reed!

Tiger should be top 20 in ranking now? He's going to play!

Why would you want that? His career record in the Ryder Cup is 13-17-3, and that's when he was younger healthier and better. So many better match play players.
