What about Rory? I get that your going to make mistakes during a tournament but to just be flat for the whole round leaves something to be desired. I'm a fan of Rory as I was of Greg Norman and it just sucks that they consistently can't finish off majors when they possess so much talent. He wants to be considered among the all time greats of the game but to me he gave up on himself today especially after 9. You didn't see that out of Jordan, he kept at it. Unfortunately I will continue suffering along with Rory and under performing efforts.

It always seemed like Tiger had pure dedication and fire for competing in majors. Rory doesn't give me that same impression. I'm not aware of what's in Rory's mind nor am I aware of what truly drives him but it makes me wonder what he'd accomplish if he had the same relentless desire that Tiger had.

That being said Rory is already a HOF golfer and has accomplished more than most could ever hope to. He can do whatever he likes - I'm just speaking from the perspective of someone who admires his talent.

Tiger is the GOAT. Anyone getting compared to him is going to fall short minus Jack, the pre-Tiger GOAT. Rory def a HOF, but will never be close to GOAT status.

Jack is the GOAT then a considerable drop-off to #2 Tiger... then another considerable drop-off to probably Hogan, Nelson, Watson and Miller then the rest....

It's hard to compare eras. No one knows what Byron, Ben, Arnold, Jack etc would have been like with today's course conditions and improvement in equipment...

I'm glad someone finally settled this! That should convince everyone.

This thread, however, is about the 2018 Masters.

You're welcome...

Fat Jack trying to look cool was pretty hilarious. Haha, thanks for this.

He looks like a guy who hoards majors on the professional level in a sport you idolize because you can’t compete.

Hats off to Reed. He held off a nasty back 9 leaderboard with Jordan and Fowler on his heels. Great win.

A bag of left-handed junk.

Who has won 6 BACK TO BACK USGA ametuer/junior championships? Tiger.

Who has won all majors in consecutive order? Tiger.

Who is 2nd and 3rd all times wins on PGA and Euro PGA tour? Tiger.

Tiger is the GOAT!

And he has a solid 5-6 years left in the tank....

In recent years, more researchers argue that [bMI is] not the most accurate way to measure body weight. For years, scientists have said that BMI can’t distinguish between fat and muscle, which tends to be heavier and can tip more toned individuals into overweight status, even if their fat levels are low. In the journal Science, the latest data from University of Pennsylvania shows that BMI also doesn’t tease apart different types of fat, each of which can have different metabolic effects on health. BMI cannot take into consideration, for example, where the body holds fat. Belly fat, which is known as visceral fat, is more harmful than fat that simply sitting under the skin. Visceral fat develops deep among muscles and around organs like the liver and by releasing certain hormones and other agents, it disrupts the body’s ability to balance its energy needs. Even relatively thin people can have high levels of visceral fat, which means they might be considered healthy by BMI standards, but internally they may actually be at higher risk of developing health problems related to weigh gain.

Tiger is the GOAT!

In a sport where success is measured in major wins, Tiger has 14, Jack has 18...

If you want to judge by those owning the Grand Slam in one year, then it's Bobby Jones...

Who really won today?

Reed?

Who lost today?

Rory, Jordan, John, Ricky or perhaps, the integrity of our game?

I may have missed the part about the lost integrity. When did that happen?

Reed seems to be divisive around here.... He played like a great champion and won. Get over it and last time I checked there's no weight in for the Masters.

Sure. It's just a really dorky picture of a carbfaced dude. This was just a pretty funny try hard attempt at "cool." Doesn't make him a bad person.

Agree to disagree. It's a try hard look. Opie would look pretty funny trying to act like the Fonz, too.
