LOL......Yeah, I know 99% of all golfers in the world have never even seen somebody scare 72, much less anything better. Of course everyone on the WRX carries it 320, carries a scratch, and has seen at least 1 sub-60 round, so I didn't think the post was THAT far out in left field............LOL

 

I played recently with a guy who broke par: 1st time ever! It is an actual feat though, as our course rating is around 75 (74.4 officially, but this time of year 2 strokes higher due to billiard table greens and fairways that won't hold the ball

 

58-you have to be kidding me.  That is like showing up for a Saturday morning ride and having a top 3 Tour de France finisher drop in.

This will be my 27th year of playing golf. And I've shot 72 three times, 73 twice, and 74 four times in that time. And I think "hey, I am alright at this game. Definitely better than the average golfer"

And then I read threads like this and it brings me right back to earth.

Not yet met anyone to that level. Seems like it’d be fun to watch
