By Sunday afternoon at the API I had no idea what I was yelling. Dilly Dilly would have simplified things.

So your one of the ones yelling Baba Boey, mashed potatoes, get in the hole.etc...?

Yes. Probably, sometimes.

The API doesn't have a specific 'thing' to yell, so people are just yelling random s*** from 'GO TIGER' to *UNINTELLIGIBLE*

If "YAYYY!" is positive and allowed, would all positive yells be allowed? If so,, "YYEPPP!" ala Storage Wars could be the next hot yell and the one to break through the S.S.R.D 30 defense...

lol who actually yells out YAY!?!

I’m imagining you in a sailor moon costume right now

Watch The Open championship. You will hear it, but only when "one of theirs" does something worthy.

Budwieser is just chapped because now Masters patrons can buy a delicious Blue Moon Belgian White pale ale with an orange slice.

Personally, I have never been a Craft Beer kind of guy. Left to my own devices, a cold Budweiser is not such a bad thing in my view. But the stupid Dilly Dilly campaign, and now this story, where Budweiser (not even being a Masters sponsor) encourages that kind of asinine behavior, makes me hate the brand.

I fully realize that millions of beer-drinking Americans think that it is some kind of right to be able to yell Baba Booey! or Dilly Dilly! at a golf tournament. The beauty of the Augusta National Golf Club is that those people don't get in; and if they do get in, and act that way, they get taken out and put on a list to never be allowed back in.

Unmarked white vans manned by "crowd controls specialists" will be placed "about the property" to quickly "handle" the violators.

The security staff will follow the S.S.R.D 30 protocol.

This sounds like Spearmint Rhino in Las Vegas's tactic to deal with belligerent patrons. (Don't offend ugly strippers at Spearmint Rhino. So I'm told.)

Would be really cool to see Navy Seal Team 6 in action at ANGC.

It was all very sedate and proper today. I did not hear a peep. Either the word is out or it was well edited.

This week must give all the troglodytes and neanderthals fits.

"aww but Cleetus, we don;t hear people shouting inane advertising slogans/howard stern catch phrases, how are they having fun?"

"One of theirs"? What sort of remark is that?? Oh well, thanks for confirming that all of the other things shouted are shouted by "one of yours" ;-)

The only thing that should be shouted on a golf course is the word "fore", and then only when strictly necessary.

This great game of golf used to be renowned for good etiquette, manners, politeness, and good company. Things are now getting way out of hand.

The sad thing is that so many people haven't learned the good judgment to know what is appropriate and what is not in certain situations. It is more important for them to be seen as a complete azz than to not be seen at all.

Bud doesn’t care since the company owns Blue Moon as well.
