Innisfail is correct, there's at least 125 ft of elevation change between T-box/Green on Spruce #4, you need to hit at least 1 less iron to score.

Innisfail is a beauty course.

Their men’s open on September long weekend is one of the funnest tourneys around. Match play then a scramble on Monday if you are not in the finals

No body out playing lately? Put a new driver in the bag and I am -6 for my last 2 rounds.

Hope it carries over to club champs this weekend!

Anyone interested in a M2 tour 3 wood with a bb7x shaft?

Other than Men’s league at River’s Edge, I haven’t played much.

It’s in the best shape I’ve seen in years.

Played Alberta Springs the other day it's just outside of Red Deer, no shortage of water the track is green and in great shape as well the greens roll nice, fast & smooth. Made a few birdies and broke 80, really enjoying my new G400's & 718 AP2's. No smoke today in Sylvan, it must of move south to Calgary.

Haven't made it up there yet this year, but I do enjoy that track.

If you haven't made it down to Rocky to play Pine Hills yet you should get on that. Course is in fantastic shape right now.

We played Rocky on July 11th, agree it was in great shape, didn't like the lay out of a few holes, but enjoyed the round, 0 birdie, 1 lost ball, shot 41/42, need to play here more than once a year to get more local knowledge of the greens. As well, had a great meal/drinks in club house after the round.

Yeah we're really spoiled with that clubhouse & restaurant. Best food in town imo (though I may be biased)

Agree with some of the layout. Hole #1 SUCKS. So hard to get a flat lie, and I wish they'd do something different with the drainage ditch on #6 (the long par 5) as that's where the ball ends up 90% of the time (unless you're a bomber and can fly it)

Either way, just found out this weekend that we're moving out to Prince Edward Island, so I'm trying to get a few last rounds in before we leave in September. Just one or two nice courses to pick from out on the Island, so really looking forward to that :)

My buddy is from out east and he says you can get a membership in pei that covers the whole island and it is like $2500. Can be a member at every course. He says he is going to live there when he retires

Oh wow, hadn't heard that! I know several of the courses have memberships that let you play at any of the 3 associated courses too (Cavendish area & the Rodd Resort courses have that), but didn't know about an Island wide one. Will have to do some investigating. Thanks for the heads up!

Sure, lets do it, maybe I'll play better than my last round their on Aug 30, 2017 – lost 0 ball - 1 Birdie – 44/43, struggled with my driver/woods, hopefully the G400/718's will produce.

Enjoy the vacation, let me know when your back.
