Played like garbage on the front of hawk then better on the back. Could not make a putt on the back. 42/37

 

Played 9 on raven as I had to grab my kids and it was a bit slow on the back. 36.

 

Cant seem to post a video. But they have a building on the right side of the range. 3 bays with track man and a flightscope. Just a golf wrx wet dream!!

Priddis is awesome. I could see myself as a member if I lived a lot closer. Fantastic courses! Well done as both those courses can be quite the test.

My buddy there just has the social membership. Was $1000

 

Unlimited use of the practice facility. Gets 6 rounds there on either course (only can book the day before though) but can play the other 18 if there is room (does not go against your 6 rounds) Just have to make sure there is room in the afternoon after your first round.

 

These courses are in unreal shape. Always are. Greens are firm and fast. Lots of breaks you can’t see. Sand traps are perfect. Tees are cut tighter then most courses greens. So so so good!

Got an invite to play men’s night at cottonwood last night. Never played there before. Nice track! Played really well! Shot -1 and took the long drive. I hit driver so well last night. Took the long drive prize.

Loving the g410. want to try the lst version though. Just for curiosity sake. If the putter had of cooperated I should have been 66-67 easy. Had a lot of looks at bird

Played sirocco yesterday, thought it was it great shape.

 

15 green they had replaced a spot and it was roped off (bowl

On the front right of the green) but looks like it should be good to go anyday.

That area was roped off when I played there in July. I think it gets full of ice in the winter

Noticed that lots of courses with greens that have bowls on them got damage. My theory. ThAt snow we got in the spring after the courses were open washes the top dressing and fertilizer into the low areas once it melts the it burns them and kills them. Not much you can do

Ya still playing... Not as much though. Too bad about BD. I have noticed public courses taking a &*^^ kicking this year. BD could not have been worse than Delacour which absolutley sucks. I am sad to say that but until they make some changes, I will not be going back there.

Lynx was nice this past Sunday. Full 180 from a month ago. Everything was great and it was nice to see.

I have yet to play RW this year. I wish I could get out Saturday but do not think I can. PM times are easier to find there. Really thinking about a mountain course on sunday...

I've played both recently. Both courses suck equally as bad, just in different ways.

So what are people’s thoughts on best 5 courses around Calgary. Just curious as my haunts are way too packed and in crap shape. I Would like to know your thoughts

Sirocco

Priddis (my fave) private I know...

Olds (hour away but worth it)

delacour — have not played it since the start of June. Would like to see it in person to judge for myself.

Oh priddis... it's my favorite followed by canyon for the privates. Always mint.

Delacour has taken steps back I want you to play it to see as you were a member when it was really good

Darcy ranch was good, have not played it in in a few years though.

 

Was a member At high river last year, also good. Have not been back there this year though.

Second the D'Arcy Ranch option. Always in good shape, played there 2 weeks ago and was incredibly lush for August. Some greens a tad ragged around the edges. Redwood Meadows is a solid choice as well.

I like all the courses listed, however, I dislike the Winston and Inglewood for the ranges.

I forgot how good D’Arcy ranch is! Man that place is mint right now! Some of the best greens I have been on all year! Really pretty right now with all the fall colours coming out. Played well today with a 73 from the back tees. Good day on the course with Cruisin1966!

The course was in awesome condition. It was nice to tag along to watch you play well.
