Anyone got any tips for making short putts? Shot an 80 at Delacour on Friday that included not one.. Not two.. Not three.. But SEVEN 3-putts. 39 total on the round. 

 

I could blame the early season conditions of the greens, but I'd just be lying to myself.

I'm going to say inside 5 feet. But I'm pretty sure I missed a couple 3 footers as well. 

 

My first guess was a confidence/stroke issue. Not trusting my line/alignment and then leaving them short. Putting scared essentially. Maybe I need a shrink before a lesson.

Still early. I wouldn’t stress about it yet. Maybe just an off day. 
 

get to the practice green and roll some putts. Clock drill around the hole from 4 feet or so. 6 balls, can’t go home till you make them all. Put some stress into practice

With only weekends to golf, I've been out once, and it looks like I won't have a chance to get out for another 8 days with weather (course shut down) and availability from work.  Congrats on getting a good start

Got rounds at olds and Speargrass This week. Weather comes around starting Monday!

Played today, sure am enjoying the new G425 Max. No golf for the rest of the week getting 6 PRP shots in the lower back at the CAPRI Clinic in Lacombe tomorrow, it helps with the pain mgt.  For those who suffer and aren't interested in cortisone, check out the link.

Played olds yesterday— 75 (greens need a cut, should be mint by tomorrow!)

 

Played Speargrass today — 73 (greens are MINT!) 

 

swing feels 100% better then last year. Had lots of looks inside 15 feet. Just could not get them to Drop. Stroke feels great though!

Had the up and down of the year on 16 to make par, 

 

5 iron off the tee on 17 then a wedge to 10 feet. Missed the bird 

 

driver and a wedge on 18, just came up shirt, chip and a putt. Got through even par on that shitshow 

 

really need to do better on the par 5 there. I should be able to tear those up. 2 birds and a bogie. Need to be better

Love the par 5s there.

 

9 and 15 are easily reachable. 

 

3 and 12 are defense only.

 

1 and 10 are birdie holes depending on the wind.

Played my first round since the PRP shots, back felt good, took it easy on the swing maybe that helped, broke 80, shot 40/39 =79 today. Our greens were variegated cut this morning, had a few opportunities but no birdies, it was a bumpy ride to the pin, they said they were prepping them for the expected periods of rain this week, we need the moisture.

It's all here in plain English .... Individual sports and activities such as running, cycling, dirt biking and golfing (disk and regular) are allowed.

Read it, still confused. So you can golf with members of your household and that’s it? Or am I confused?

New Rules ... Outdoor sports is permitted for individuals and groups of 10 or fewer, golfing (disk and regular) is allowed.

 

Members of different households must maintain 2 metre distancing at all times.

 

If you walk ..... 2 metre distancing must be maintained. 

 

If you cart .... has to be with a member of your household or take 2 carts.

 

I'm sure your local course will accommodate you.

Sports, performance and recreation  – Effective at 11:59 pm on May 9

All outdoor sports and recreation are now prohibited except with members of your household or, if living alone, two close contacts. This is a decrease from the current limit of 10 people.

 

 

Those are the new restrictions announced today. They way it reads to me is that golf is included in the new restrictions.
