I used the TopTracer there a week or more back. It was pretty much read a full club short through the bag, but it was fun to play some of the games they had there. The guys at GF YYC are awesome and it's cool that we can hit balls outside year round.

I enjoyed watching someone hit the golf ball properly.  4 iron carried around 230, 4H carrying further than my driver, 118+ SS -> 170+ BS driver carrying over 300.

Just picked up a new in plastic, Mizuno T22 Denim copper 60º at Golf Traders in Calgary. They're selling them off at $149 if anybody needs a new 58º/60º. They had a few of each in denim and chrome

That’s a great deal, picked up a couple blues this off season and I think it was like $440 for 2.

One of the benefits of freedom 55 retirement. Was able to get into a free 1 hour custom fitting slot today with Ping at the Desert Willow Academy of Golf.  It was a 1-on-1 session with a very knowledgeable fitting specialist that included Trackman to validate my data. My 718 AP-2's may be kicked out of the bag, I got to try a number of head/shaft combo's, the Ping i230's and the G430's irons with Recoil 780's F4 Stiff out performed my current gamers. Waiting for Ping to send me my Trackman summary data and will have to make a difficult decision, sure was a positive experience. I think I even surprised the guys how well these irons performed for me. A few pic's from the Palm Springs desert, temps in mid 70's into next week .... Just checking to see if anyone on here is using VIP Golf.  I am thinking about going but I download the App on my phone and I am unable to scroll through the available courses.  The page is frozen at the top.  Anyone else having this issue?  Thanks.

That might be their “new app” last year I think they tried to debut it and then we had to go back to the old one. I just went on the app and it was working.

what’s everyone’s predictions for the first rounds?

 

i am off to Kimberly for 3 days May 1 but hoping we are going earlier then that!

It's 82F/28C out now, you guys need to take a Palm Springs golf vacation, playing here tomorrow at 10:17 am,  Escena pic of Hole #1, Par 5.

Prediction: April 15 we are off, hopefully before. We need like 5 days of plus 10. The usual haunts will open first. I can't imagine courses will delay too long as this will cut into profits. The itch is strong. I hope to golf Radium as soon as something opens.

Before you posted this I legit had just went back in this thread to see when courses opened haha. You guys are usually a week or so ahead of Edmonton.

Actually not that hard to hit , but yes look very nice! Got a deal on a new set of t100 with some mmt125tx graphite shafts so going to move these
