Glad you guys are working it out. He might want it back before refund. Right now you're protected by Paypal but if he refunds and the head doesn't get shipped back (not saying that will happen, just from his point of view) I think he has a harder time with any recourse since he was the seller. Just a thought before that could become a big deal. Hope it works out.

How can the seller be chocked about this? The sole pic shows the dent was there before he ever shipped. It’s just tough to spot unless you know it’s there.

PayPal wants you to ship it back before refund is issued. If seller doesn’t respond PayPal automatically issues refund based on your tracking and showing delivered back to seller

If the seller has any pride and ethical he would. I doubt PayPal will refund that part.

I would just ship it back and message within Paypal the return number for record. If he gets it and there is an issue then you can dispute. I think Paypal dispute contacts the seller first anyways who would just say he agreed to accept the return anyways.

 

Edit : have him paypal you return money or send you a label.

Since it is going back to Canada, I would probably file a dispute with PayPal to have them involved. Last thing you want is for it to get lost/further damaged plus there is customs, insurance, etc. Cover your bases here.

It only cost $18 to ship from Canada to US? Did you have to pay any COD? CPO charges $35 USD for shipping US to Canada and sometimes there's a COD on top.
