SuperStroke iron Grips....?

Recommended Posts

I have been silently lurking on this forum for quite a while now, but this is my first post. My question is about grips for my irons. I currently use the winn dri tac grips, and I really like them, but they do not last as long as I think a grip should and are completely wore out. I purchased a single super stroke s-tech midsize grip for my lob wedge, and I really like that style, although I have concerns about durability and stickiness. Found out on there website that they have the new cross comfort, and looks similar to the winn dri tac. Has anybody put the s-tech or cross comfort grips on there irons? How have they wore? Do they retain their stick like the winns?

Thanks in advance

I put S techs on all of my clubs last year. I played about 40 rounds with no signs of wear. I sold my irons and wedges during the offseason but put S techs on my new irons. I really like them.

I'm in the same boat. Played the GP MCC+4 midsize for quite a while but I have *very* sweaty hands so switched to the Dri Tac Midsize last year (In July). They already need replacing...

Anyone else with very sweaty hands switch to the Superstroke grips like them better?

I would love to know too as I have sweaty hands and have trouble holding onto the club in summer. Just got a pure dtx on my driver and it feels awesome, but haven't tried it in humid conditions as it's autumn (fall) over here.

Avoid the SS TX1s. I couldn’t resist for $3.49 each for the midsize but the cord part is pretty slick when brand new
