No but I just got an EX-10 with the Aldila Rogue Silver 70 in it. It is tremendous, as you said - long and straight.

Unfortunately as a lefty, no Betas and no driver available

...but I thought the same thing after hitting the 3 wood..."I want to get the Exotics driver with a Rogue Silver 60"

I have the E8 Beta in 15, 16,5, and 18 degrees loft with the Rogue 70. They are cannons, indeed. Also have the CB1, CB2, CB4, CB5, EX9 Long, EX10 Beta, and CBPro F2. They are all great fairway woods but prefer the CB4 and CBPro F2 for versatility off the deck. Also have the EX10 Beta driver but never warmed up to it. Very loud and SLDR-low spin/forgiveness. Always wait a year after introduction and pick them up at steep discounts. The new CBX is supposed to be excellent but have not hit it yet.

Recently picked up same as you OP after breaking my 4 wood. So far so good, though I didn’t like it much during the original range session with it. I’ve certainly warmed up to it a bit

I have an E8 Beta with a Rogue Silver 70, but largely don't play it for gapping reasons. It's too long to fit in my bag well. I can only blame myself, I bought a 12* to try as a driver replacement experiment. Worked moderately well, but not quite what was needed, so now it sits. I've carried it in the bag at times but there are so few true chances to use it on course.

Again, I did it to myself. Had I picked a 15* the first time, I'd be here posting about the sheer awesome that comes from using a TEE fwy wood.

Have thought about finally picking up a 15* for the 3w slot but haven't quite pulled the trigger just yet.

Edited to add: it's not quite a perfect translation but I have an XCG7 Beta driver that I've used from time to time. I've always fought spin issues off the tee, when I first got the XCG7 Beta, I had trouble keeping it airborne. I worked that out, but it was quite the surprise. I would expect the E8 Beta driver would be similar. And, stock shaft options are a bit more robust in the E8 line...

I just picked up a 16.5 with a Rogue Silver 70 and it is the longest, straightest fairway I’ve hit. It’s so good I want to buy the driver without hitting it first. Anyone play this fairway?

Put me in the camp of those that love the e8 Beta. I have the 12° with the Rogue, and it is just a fantastic club. I had the 18° and it just didn't perform as well for me, but that was most likely operator error.

Simply put, this is a great "players" fairway wood.

I have had the E8 Beta in the bag for 2 years now and its not going anywhere. I have the 16.5* with the rogue. I added some lead tape to get it to the sledgehammer weight i like and its been the best $90 Ive spent on golf. It's fantastic off the deck and is within a few yds of the 13.5* RBZ stage 2 I was playing previously off the tee. I loved the TM on days the Driver wasnt cooperating but never liked the look off the deck. The Beta is not leaving my bag until it breaks or i get too old and slow to handle the shaft!!!!!!!

Are they a low flight or high flight fairway woods? I have a CBX16.5 and I like it, but I want something a little more explosive. I'm a fairly high spin player, but I need a fairway wood I can hit off the deck.

Honestly, I find them perfectly reasonable to elevate, especially for a "players" head. The 5 wood that I had spun a bit much, but I had a 60g shaft in it, and that was probably too light. What really is most impressive is the turf interaction. This thing reacts as well with the turf as some of the classic fairways that I've had, the Warbirds and V-Steels.

It’s high launch low spin for me off the tee. Mid height off the deck.

Did you have a 3 wood? What shaft? I have the stock stiff shaft in mine and I'm considering replacing it to try and make it a little easier to hit (or practicing).

Shafted up an EX10 Beta 16.5 and 18 - enjoyable with great feel off the ball - long, straight and workable.

Pass on the driver - had a friend who had one - loud and somewhat spinny. I tried it - loud, feel is not good - driver is a tougher design - better choices elsewhere from Ping, Callaway, TM, et al. But as to fairways, unless you are a high speed player and just want Rogue, the Beta are more fun.
