Cheap hybrid shaft options?

I have one of these (http://www.touredge....xrailhybrid.asp) hybrids, that I picked up used with the stock stiff shaft. It's a 19 degree 3 hybrid, and when I hit it well it feels great but I have a lot of trouble getting it up in the air. I don't want to dump a ton of money into a club I got for 35 bucks, but what's a good budget hybrid shaft that might give me some more kick? I've never been fitted so I don't have a great idea of my swing speed, but I think I'm somewhere on the border of regular and stiff shafts, so maybe a softer stiff or stiffer regular might do well.

 

The club is my ~210-220 club (when I hit it well), for what it's worth if that helps.

sounds like a stiff might be good for you.

 

tip trim it less than suggested and i'd recommend playing it shorter than stock, something like 39.5" (same as a 2 iron).

 

you may need some lead tape to put on the head afterwards to get back the feel of the clubhead.

If you haven't purchased a hybrid shaft yet, I have a stiff UST Recoil hybrid shaft that I would be more than willing to send to you for just the cost of shipping. It came on a Srixon H65 hybrid I bought - but I already knew what shaft I was going to use, so I just swapped it out and it has been sitting in the garage since then. It could use a good home.
