Titleist PGA Staff fitting day today for East Tennessee... picked up on average 4 mph faster ball speed (now 166-168 on Trackman) and 10-12 yards carry. The majority of players all gravitated towards the TS3 driver and the fairway was split 50/50 between the two models. The TS3, which I was fitted for, has a great traditional look and AMAZING sound. Yes, I capitalized AMAZING for a reason :) This driver on average also spun 500 rpms less than my 917 D2. I did loft up to 9.5º from my 917 D2 setting of 8.75º and it still didn't spin above 2200-2300. Never before have I ever been able to increase launch using the loft of the driver because increase dynamic spin spin rates until the TS driver... now with 500 rpm less spin I can tinker with additional loft in the attempt to increase launch without increasing spin!

TSR3 9º Driver - Helium Black 5F5 @ 45.5”

Fitters ready to go September 1 or earlier. I believe in-hand last week of September? Its funny to see how many GolfWRXr's are complaining about such a late release... this release for the TS line is about as early as I can remember. Usually it's a late October or November 1st release.

I just did a test on my ts3 today...same shaft vs my 917D3 which is an elements gold 6F4 which is 44.5”. I picked up 9 yards of carry with TS3 vs my gamer...actually was fitted for the new Hzrdus Smoke shaft gains were even more but it is a 45.5” shaft although an inch longer it was more accurate than my gamer...haven’t been able to get either combo on course yet....but...all I can say is wow.....nothing I don’t like about this driver, I usually find something I don’t like about new clubs, but this one looks great, love the direction of the alignment aid, love the color, sound, feel and most importantly it’s longer and straighter....win-win..I am usually one that doesn’t pick up any yardage with new drivers...normal numbers are around 14.5 launch at 2200 ish spin with most drivers on the market so it’s usually hard for me to see a difference...only other club that I had this much increase is when I hit epic for the first time...IMO Titleist fans will love this club

Under construction....

I'm stoked about this lineup. Already getting anal and tinkering in anticipation of this release.

I picked up 5 mph in ball speed and 15 yards in length. I hit the Tensi Blue, Evenflow White, and Smoke. I'll be picking up a TS3 with a Hzrdus Smoke... :)

I'm seeing lots of positive gains from the TS line. What was your baseline driver and shaft?

Sold my M3 pending payment this morning... Which means I can't possibly game my M3 woods anymore so those will have to hit BTS, my OCD won't allow it... What a great time for me to be in the market for a new set of woods. ;)

for everyone quoting they picked up ballspeed and carry, can you also please state if you were fitted from 915 to 917 as well?

i'm always skeptical of the new model adding significant gains over the previous model.
