Most Anticipated New Equipment?

I was able to see the new PING I-210 model up close last week, (Just handled them) Reading the post on the new Titleist drivers and now the post on the new Callaway Forged irons (be it they are apex replacements or new x forged) it sure looks like the next 6 months we are going to make it hard to not replace something.

 

What is everyone looking to test or replace??

New Srixon 85 iron range and RTX 4 wedges.

I was lucky enough to see them first hand 3 days back and all I can say is WOW....

Those photos floating around of the 585 iron are nothing like the finished product.

I won’t say too much more except we are in for a real treat.

Think 545 and 565 combined to make a beautiful love child....Also those new legacy irons look sweet

Was not aware of a new RTX 4 wedge. Explains why the RTX 3 have dropped in price.

 

I just replaced my 8 year old 58 degree Vokey with an RTX 3 model, Loving it. More so then my other two Vokey wedges now. If RTX 3 stay low will replace my current ones to them.

Wilson has waited a while to replace the FG 100 blade. Not sure if its on the horizon but I'll be eagerly waiting for its arrival until then.

 

New Ping stuff is underwhelming (to me), the new Srixon line looks to be similar to what's been out there for them. Hmm...

 

Idk when it's coming but the Taylormade P series irons are a welcome change. Kinda wondering how they'll improve upon them.

I'm excited about the upcoming JPX Tour, new Srixon irons, and the Legacy/X-Forged irons. I'm not a ping guy but even the I210 looks great in pics.

 

 

I'm disappointed by the looks of the TS drivers unless they truly outperform the 915/917 models by large margins

I currently play 712 CB's and was about to purchase JPX 900 tours.....I wonder if the replacement for these will be nicer / better? should I wait?

HAHAHA that is soooo true. I have 2 Scotty's, but one is a Studio Stainless and will probably never let it go. Been thinking of selling them both and coughing up a bit more dough and getting Byron Morgan.

Not sold on the TS drivers yet, will need to see them in person. I will say I played Ping's a long time ago (like back in the Ping Eye/ISI series...) and have really not liked much from them but the S55's. I will admit the new ones surprised me holding them. My draw back is I wish the longer irons had less offset though, as it is progressive.

New TM stuff and seeing what they do to respond to callaway. I have been playing a 915D3 for 4 years and I'm ready for a new driver. The TS titleist stuff doesn't really interest me yet.

Ping i500s because they're awesome. I'd think they'd also be a very popular introduction on WRX considering that they're going to take a BIG bite out of PXG's market share. All of the WRXers who can't stand Bob Parsons and his offspring will have something to celebrate. All's well that ends well.

I can't wait for my TM 790 UDI to come in. My 770 3 iron is pretty long off the tee, add a little extra length and forgiveness from the UDI and it might be a game changer.

Same for me. It was supposed to be delivered today.. But somehow didn't make the truck. Almost feel like calling in sick to work to tomorrow so I can be here when it gets here. UDI!!

 

On a more serious note, I'm hoping it can kind of replace my 3 iron and have a little extra off the tee. If not, I will finally give up the driving iron game.

Have you seen the new Wilson FGV6 Raw irons? Had I just not bought something they would have made it into my bag. Despite what a lot of people "think" Wilson should charge for their irons. I just don't get how people can claim Wilson irons are sub standard and do not deserve to be at a certain price point.

Really not looking to replace anything in my current bag. Always wanting to see the new driver offerings as I am Interested to see what the TS look like up close as well as what TM will do next. I also would like to see what the new JPX line of irons look like.
