Birthday Driver upgrade?

Debating on upgrading my driver for my birthday! I need something forgiving. Working on fixing my slice and it’s going well and I hope to start lessons next week. What are your suggestions now? I hit the Epic and Rogue last week and had way better success with the Rogue. But $500 is steep

Not sure what you are using at the moment but I can’t stress enough how good the XR16 Pro is.

Crazy long & forgiving but can be had for a steal.

There are none of the current crop of drivers out there that can sway me.

I have made two driver purchases over the years that I’ll never regret, this XR16 Pro is one of them if not my best driver purchase ever.

I’d advise anyone to try it.

I don’t have a slice that often, but am struggling with a fade that I am not too happy with. I have an F7+ but will be trying a G400 SFT next week. Will let you know if it helps reduce the right side for me. I used to have a slight draw, but injured my rib 3 months ago. Ever since I’ve had a slice or best case a hard fade. I’ll be using the same Rogue Silver shaft to test the effectiveness of just the head.

+1 for the XR16 Pro. Also, you can get a Taylormade M2 2016 model pretty cheap on eBay and it’s a great stick. Go to a local shop and get fit for a shaft, then go on eBay and try to find exactly what you want.

Changing drivers isn't going to fix your slice as much as those lessons will.

Ping G400 Max/SFT and Rogue/draw are 2 great options! ;)

Callaway Fusion. Designed for maximum forgiveness, sub 45 inch shaft option, it's not this year's model, so less expensive. There's many options out there but going back a generation or two is an easy way to save a few hundred bucks.

Pick yourself up G400 Max off the BST, not saying it’ll fix your slice but with the combination of lessons and the Max you should hit it considerably straighter.

Have you tried a shorter shaft? I took an inch off, I'm hitting more fairways, no loss in distance, really improved my game. It's a cheap option compared to the price your looking at.

Love my ping g400. Be sure to try the ping g drivers as well. You can get them for a good deal brand new these days.
