Maltby TS2

I ordered a Hi -way pak that I'm going to put together myself on the 20th of last month. It reminds me of the same size and shape of a 7 wood I played in the 80s . Plus some odds and ends.

Haven't heard anything today,but I tend to keep an eye on my bank card statement.

Just anxious like a little kid waiting for Santa, not upset. Supply chains and uncertainty are affecting lots of businesses.

I'm in the same boat. Ordered a DBM 7i with FST Pro 125 shaft in X-stiff at 1.5" over standard with Golf Pride MCC Plus 4 midsize grip back on March 24th. Building this as a test iron before I order a full set. Everything but the head was on backorder. Things have been coming in slowly, but everything is now in, minus the shaft. I understand the backlog due to manufacturing and shipping issues. So I'm still being patient. Certainly don't want to unnecessarily rush the process of having a nearly complete set built.

everything was in stock , I never got a email from the customer shop to approve so it was weird . Cards been charged

Kuro Kage g2 for the 21° Hyway. I received an email that they are not going to be available until June.  Also ordered a second Kuro Kage g2 to put in my old Cobra 17 degree fairway. I may wait because I really like that shaft...... But

If anybody has a recommendation for a similar profile shaft - mid kick, stiff, 60+ wt.. $50 ish.( I suppose I'm asking if anybody knows about a super deal on a sleeper shaft.) Thanks!

I did try the 4 iron in my back yard and it was much improved over my player distance clubs

They felt great. A little shorter then my player distances clubs. I knew that because of the loft. 
 

distance need to get honed in. 4-7 are great but I am all over the map with 8-PW.

I've been gaming the TS2 since last year, absolutely love them. 4-GW w/DGF105xm TSW wedges in 52 and 56. I took a bit of a break from playing consistently for 5 years and these irons have helped me get some much needed confidence back and scores have been coming down since last year. They aren't leaving the bag anytime soon.

Did anyone see the eBay posting for the used TS2 heads where the seller stripped the paint?   These look stellar.

Does the badge have raised lettering and this was just painted over?

I messaged the seller.  Apparently, he took steel wool to the badges.  He said the base layer of the badges is metal or metal foil, and this is what is left after the graphics were sanded off!

That looks more like he painted those. In the cavity the badge has slightly raised letters. I do like the look.

Hyway, TSW DRM and PTM 5 are all at the house awaiting my fat fingers. 

Love, love, love the face height of the HYWAY. 

The color difference one the two TSW wedges is a lot closer than I imagined.

My Hyway should be here any day.   Love the thought of the 21 becoming my go to from 190-210 ish.. 

 

The DRM wedges-- let me know if they blunt the glare.  Was considering one or two.   LOVE my TSW alot..

That is a really good question. I have 4 that I'm contemplating. A Pro TSL TS shaft. A Pro FW probably an S tipped. Superlite 55 S tipped or a Superlite FW S tipped. All Xcalibers at the moment. I have a Paderson but I think that's going to a customer. I really wish the HYWAY had an adapter. I will put all the shafts on the CPM machine and try and figure it out. Almost too many options.

My work league just started up and the TE forged are working great with a 43 and 41.  84 ties my best 18 hole score total and my handicap is under 20 now at 19.2.  I've using almost a completely Maltby bag now, only a 2016 M2 driver and Piretti putter aren't Golfworks.

 

The stuff works.

I was the seller on these. Not painted. Lot of elbow grease with steel wool. Stripped off the “paint” if you can call it that but was more just screened on graphics. Raised lettering remained. Was trying to find a good way to maybe paint the lettering black again but my first couple efforts didn’t work so I just acetoned it off.

I know they're a long way away but I can not wait for the TS-3 irons. I'm hoping the lofts and aesthetics lend themselves to a nice TS-3 / TS-1 Combo Set (or they're black.....)
