Did you not hit any of those shafts to find out what works?

the profiles of the kbs, the nh950 and the pxLZ are all VERY different….

I have hit a KBS 90 and and Project LZ in 5.5 . KBS went long and high with an easy swing.

I have the NEO version of the GH but I can tell it’s much stiffer in the tip vs the old version.

club head spread was down a little with the LZ.

Sounds like the KBS 90 might be worth a look!

fwiw I get along really well with the LZ (albeit in a stiffer flex).

honestly you cant go wrong with nippon or kbs as a manufacturer, they both make a superb product. Id go with whatever you enjoyed at the fitting! (Sounds like the kbs!)

Yea I am looking to move to graphite. Going to try the Maltby Pro Series. He did suggest KBS Max R+ graphite . Looks some what similar to the Pro Series.

Will be curious to hear your thoughts on the pro series shafts. I think they are great and had no issues going to them after hitting steel. Last year, had them in stiff. They were too stiff but the regular flex are sweet (ymmv).

Yea I was a little nervous about the flex being too stiff. I went with Regular. I was even debating about soft stepping .

I cant make up my mind which maltby driver to get - either the ke4 tc or the stw2.  Let us know how you like the stw2. What shaft did you get with it?

I have the tsw dr (52 degree) with pro series shaft. Great club!

The STW2 was easily out performing my Sim Max. So far a fan

Honestly I wanted to like the TC tour driver more than the STW2 but that wasn’t the case. STW2 was better for me than the TC Tour

I have TC Tour 3W , which lead me to my choice of a STW2.

I know that is probably not the best way to choose

I wasn’t a fan of the TC driver either but haven’t tried any of the others. This will be my third full year with the G410

Check out pics Britt posted on the GW forum of the Max wedges. I wasn't too sure when they said adjustable weights but these look good and I have always loved the head/face shape of this model. Still playing the original triceps and they need to be replaced.

I’d be hard pressed to replace my TSW wedges. I love them

I have TSW in my second set(at my sons place normally) but still prefer the M Series shape. And if I'm going to have two sets why have them the same model.

Went to a “retro” fitting today. The fitters take aways where this. While my swing speed generally puts me in to S and R or R+ fits my tempo much better. Load a S flex doesn’t seam to work. They took my shafts a measure there frequency. It’s came in at around 6.0. He said since it’s a combo flex the but is Stiff. Shaft weight he said the lighter the better but keep SW around D1-D2.

His shaft suggestions where KBS Tour 90S ( he said it plays soft) , Elevete 95R , Nippon 950GH and maybe a Project LZ in 5 or 5.5

Curious about anyone thoughts ?

I was always a fan of the Nippon 950 GH. Excellent feel with a fairly high flight. Feel wise few steel shafts are as good.
