Which Driver/wood has best stock shaft for you?

For me,

 

Driver - Wilson Triton(rogue silver and that is why I am using that)

All ping made for were good for me.

Speerder from SLDR was also good.

 

Wood - Speeder with XR pro line. Worked even better than some after market shafts.

I have to say, I think that the stock shaft in the Ping G25 was very good. It is a UST/Mayama.

 

It might be the precursor to the Tour Shaft.

G400 max with a tour 65 or even the copper aldila is a tough combo to beat if you are an 'off the rack' guy.

Yeah I didn't even demo the G400 series with other shafts. I love the feel of the tour shaft. I use the previous gen on the G LS and its the best overall driver I've hit

... Cobra F8+ with an Even Flow Blue 65gm. I liked it so much I ordered a 3 wood with the same shaft at 75gms, then bought an Even Flow Blue 85gm hybrid shaft for my Driving Iron.

Same with me, I've used a G25 with the tour stiff for so long I knew the G400 max would be a good fit.

 

I did hit the M2 longer. But I've hit some drives with the 400 max that had no business ending up where they did. Silly forgiveness.

Either Cobra or Titleist for me. Their lists of "no-upcharge" shafts are extensive. I prefer the Titleist Drivers and Cobra fws. As for literal off-the-rack, it's Titleist all day. The Callaway Rogue line has some decent stock shafts too.

I really, really, really hate to say this. For serious guys I throw up in my mouth every time I see this club in my bag. I'm so ashamed of the fact that I own this club that I hide it under a Wilson headcover from the 90s. I paid more for this club than literally any other club I own.

 

 

...it's a taylormade aeroburner 5 wood.

T/P, so it's not white on the crown, but even, (or especially?) The stock 55 gram stuff shaft makes not subtleties about its parentage. I loathe taylormade. Thier jacked lofts, thier industry breaking marketing policy, most of thier sponsored players, and hate thier sense of style so much I get up early to have enough hours in the day to hate them. But....

This thing, this shaft, this abomantion in my bag is a beautiful, loyal, slavering monster. The shaft has great feel, exquisite, really. Hitting it right or left is childs play, and low or high is just a shift of ball position. Distance? When was the last time you saw personally, somebody clear 265 with a five wood, consistently? Me niether. I wouldn't have the most expensive shaft on the planet in the stock ones place. Give me that feel throughout the bag and I'd win everything till the reaper came.

 

It'll probably break tomorrow.
