Whose decade is 2010'S?

The 2000's are primarily known as Tiger's Decade. When we look back at the 2010's who will that golfer be? Or will it be a combination of golfers? Let me hear your thoughts.

Rory wins 13-14 times on the PGA and similar number on Euro. (Includes 4 majors) player of the year twice, fed ex cup, Hong Kong and Aussie Opens, Ryder cup appearances, 95 weeks at no.1

Probably heaps more and he’s only 29. No one else compares.

I'd give a slight edge to Rory over DJ at the moment, but someone like Spieth could get hot and take it later.

Still 6 majors left before 2020. For all we know Brooks Koepka wins all of them. If he does that would be 8 majors including 3 US Opens. So it would for sure be him.

 

If not just in terms of feel i think Rory has been the "it" golfer more than anyone else this decade. But i think the next majors will probably determine since one of the big names will do something

I don't disagree, but for the long stretches where Rory was nowhere to be found. DJ has always been hanging around in there with a win in every year. But like I said I wouldn't disagree with a Rory vote.

I think if you figure in wins, and the consistency of wins, it has to be DJ. Rory is too inconsistent even when it comes to the majors, and you have to wonder if Spieth will return to form soon. Tiger doesn't even have a majorin this decade, c'mon (lol)!

Adding another major wouldn't be enough to pass Rory.

He'd have the same number of majors, but fewer and less impressive regular PGA Tour wins, far fewer worldwide wins, and less time at #1.

 

Rory is the leader by far. Maybe not dominant enough to say it is "his decade", but there's no reasonable argument for anyone else.
