Titlleist 585.H vs. Adams Idea Pro

The topic/title say it all really, I've never owned a hybrid, and am seriously considering one to alternate with my 2 iron (19*), depending on playing conditions. For those of you who have made a similar purchase for similar reasons, I'd appreciate you weighing in on this as it's uncharted territory for me.

In terms of looks, these are the 2 i've settled on as options, Titleist 585.H and Adams Idea Pro.

This is as far as i've gotten. Prior to hitting these this week,I was hoping to get whatever suggestions or advice you folks may have. I'm looking for something to fill the gap between my 3-wood and 3-iron, around 18 or 19 degrees probably.

At the start of the season, I took a look at these two clubs with no opinions going in. The Titleist has a good feel, but the flight was higher than I expected given the low ball flight praise it gets on here. The Adams is still a hybrid, but the ball flight was flatter for me and I really prefered it by quite a bit. These clubs play pretty differently in my opinion and I liked the VS proto in the Adams. Titleist demos were all TTDG, NV's and V2's.

ok so i've read some reviews and the info from the copied post above(thanks mr. divots).

does the adams idea pro, have a little bit of offset to it? to my eye it looks like there is but as i said i'm new to the hybrid game, never gave them a second look until just a few weeks ago.

the titleist looked very good to me and with their custom shaft options, I would probably be going with the hybrid v2 100x or a steel shaft, probably the v2 though, but i see tons of people raving about the adams hybrids.

do most people find that the loft they need to replace is the loft of the hybrid they fill that gap with? for example, taking a 19* 5w out and filling it with a 19* hybrid?
