Omaha Anniversary Golf Trip! (Golf and Food recommendations?)

My wife and I will be headed to Omaha next weekend (July 13-15) for some golf and steak to celebrate our 12 year anniversary. We're both Southern California avid golfers, and we're looking to forward to what will be our first trip to the great plains. We're planing on playing all 3 days on our trip, and willing to drive about an hour outside of Omaha to play. Ideally the last day we'd play somewhere local and not too much of a trek from the airport. We're both on the high end of a medium handicap, so not seeking out something crazy challenging. We're always up for 27-36 holes in a day too! Ideally courses would offer some of the local scenery for us to enjoy, and maybe something unique and/or a little different from what we're used to in SoCal. Based on some limited research and what I've read here my short list is:

 

Bent Tree

Quarry Oaks

 

And (because 27 holes each more golf in one day!)

Indian Creek OR

Tiburon

 

Any other ideas would be appreciated! Also, we're looking to enjoy some good meals on our trip too, so any local eats recommendations would be super helpful too. Ideally at least one local steak house!!!

Golf: Quarry Oaks and Brent Tree are good choices. Others I would consider within an hour of Omaha are Woodland Hills, Iron Horse or Highlands. Iron Horse and Quarry Oaks are quite close to each other if you wanted to do 36 with a meal at Round The Bend steakhouse (closer to Quarry Oaks)

 

Steak...

Upscale Choices: 801 Chophouse, Omaha Prime

Casual: The Drover, Round the Bend (RTB is my suggestion for out of town guest, small town bar with good steak)

Avoid: Gorats and Anthony’s

 

If you go to Lincoln to play I would suggest eating at Misty’s in Havelock (original), not downtown or on the south side.

Sadly not, I have read here there that there are many nice private clubs in the Omaha area. Thanks for all the great advice!

Golf : quarry oaks , Indian creak and bent tree good choices , I like johnny Goodman and it’s a good local muny and always in decent shape.

Food : we like pitch pizza and in Bellevue go get a burger from Stella’s , the steakhouses mentioned above are great as well.

Indian Creek is one of my favorite courses in the country. Quarry Oaks is quite nice as well, but further out of town.

Sorry, saw this too late... I don’t know many Omaha courses, but Arbor Links is fantastic; 45 minutes from Omaha.
