I did not like Bohemian. To me, it was like a slightly better version of what VH1 would have made. I'm in the middle of a movie blitz. Minding the Gap (hulu) two weekends ago. Great movie, been thinking about it a lot since I watched it. Hustlers last weekend, JLo throwing a 100mph at 50+ years old - a modern day miracle in my book. Then spending this weekend at the Middleburg Film Festival. Saw Marriage Story last night, QA with Noah Baumbach after the movie. The King tonight, JoJo Rabbit and Ford vs. Ferrari tomorrow. Netflix is involved so getting a lot of those movies with the Irishmen closing the festival Sunday, but that will be about the time little Chen finishes a beat down of Sully. Missed The Parasite yesterday which I cannot wait to see.

Crazy windy and cold today at Musket Ridge. Had an scramble with some previous work colleagues. Course was in okay condition. The greens were not consistent at all. A few greens the ball would check with short irons but with others the ball would run off the greens. Not particularly fun but beats working.

Started off cold but ended up being an awesome walk. I think you may have higher standards than me but the course was in pretty good shape. Played with almost Hive champ Mark R. The layout and views capped off with a BLT/sweet potato fries always makes a great day.

If anyone is interested in playing Woodmore on Monday the 28th, it's $100 to ride and you get a $75 pro shop credit. 10% over cost (Member Pricing) in the Pro Shop that day as well, so it's not like we're temporarily jacking up prices either. Course is in great shape, especially the greens.

Smalls won. I think City said it was 13-6 or something like that. Not all matches finished. Only the truly insane/stupid did the chip & putt in the rain, including yours truly. I've never been so wet in my life.

Yesterday was fun. Paired with Fort against the Chens. What a great golf experience with your kid! For the record, our group was one of only two to complete the chip and putt also.

THDC’s other regions were wet but funnier was Fort’s entire backside covered in soap bubbles - guess he forgot the rinse cycle.

Goretex worked but my umbrella disintegrated on the 18th but just in time to tie Young Chen in singles on the last hole. Pretty scary how bad I did not want to lose to the kid. Kudos to THDC parenting - young Chen had a smile on his face the entire round.

I saw Endless' SOS message yesterday, and was primed to make a run at coming out to play. I didn't realize you all were starting at 10 though, and I couldn't have been there until like 12.

 

The weather yesterday was beyond umbrella usage. That's the kind of stuff where you suit up in the best stuff you've got, and what happens, happens. It's essentially useless trying to fuss with umbrellas and towels in that kind of rain.
