Best Golf Towel you have found?

Find someone that works in the OR/surgery at a hospital or surgery center. A lot of places throw out a ton of little blue towels. The towels work well & I don’t feel bad losing them or pitching them when they dirty.

Also like the frogger.

$2.00 smaller size bath towels from Walmart work for me. I like grey color ones because dirt doesn't show too much on 'em.

 

I return lost clubs I find to lost and found at pro shop. I don't touch towels I find....goodness knows what they've been wiping!

I like the Frogger.

When it's dry out, you soak the inside of the towel so it helps clean the clubs and use the outside to dry.

When it's wet out, you get the outside wet and keep the inside dry.

 

Very soft, very durable.

^ +1 on this. I loved this thing and am mad that I lost it. If I weren’t so cheap and lazy I’d replace it. This thread may just be the kick in the pants I needed to go buy a new one.

pack of shop towels from the hardware store once in a while leaves enough funds to buy lunch at the turn....every week.

The Frogger looks amazing. I’m going to get one and a ball towel to attach to a trouser belt loop for wiping my club after a practice shot when it’s wet.

I loved the Frogger towel I had... but I had it hanging with a Frogger brush and it just go shredded... I'm hesitant to go back...

 

I've been using a Titleist Players Towel for like 5 years... just throw it in the wash occasionally and I'm good to go.

I got a Large Srixon tour towel, and then a large Club Glove waffle towel and green side combo. Usually one of them is wrapped all through the clubs to prevent too much chattering and then use the other to wipe/clean.

This is a great idea! Wonder if it's strong enough to stay attached to the post of the golf cart during a bumpy patch.

Picked one up at the PGA Show last January. Its fantastic. Magnet is strong and towel is high quality!! Highly recommend

Yeah. I buy the cheapest bath towels Wal-Mart has to offer. The more expensive, softer ones don't work as well. A stolen hotel towel would also work. I swear I think Joe LaCava takes towels from the hotel every week to clean Tiger's clubs. Every week they have what looks like a cheap hotel towel draped over the bag.

I "found" a nice white, rough one in a hotel once back in high school when I was at a tournament. It's not too white anymore, but it's a great towel for golf.

I have a couple club glove tour towels and they’re not any better than a cheap motel towel. That stitching around the edges is complete crap and has came loose on both of mine after washing. The cheapos just keep hanging on and on.

I have a club glove microfiber pocket towel I use all the time and it has held up extremely well. It is a few years old and still going strong.

Found some random Jack Nicklaus "golden Bear" edition towel at TJ Maxx the other day. Love the waffle like texture!

Not a fan of micro fiber and thinner towels. I find that any terry cloth towel (like the titleist players towel) work best. The loops on the towel get into the grooves. I also find they absorb and hold water better. On hot and dry days i wet one side of the towel to help clean clubs.
