I did some testing on the Subzero and apex forged 2019 irons.

 

The iron shapes are similar to Xander’s, I personally believe it performed better than previous apex series. Had the CF16 and epic pro for comparison with trackman. Hit them outdoors and the trajectory and ball speed and angle of descent was really good, almost similar to epic pro. However shaft wasn’t my spec. Look out for this, it will be one of the best irons for 2019 and with slimmer profile, they look great and feel less rubber dampening and more soft “forged”. At address it look like a powerful CB iron but equally impressive in the forgiveness department

 

As for the woods, they feel less carbon thud and more similar to epic forged driver. More metallic sound. Ball speed is comparable to rogue Subzero. More adjustability than previous epic Subzero. Hit some bullets even with the shaft that wasn’t my spec. The color combination on the sole might not please everyone. Then again you can order the uDesign. But at address, they set up great. Both driver and fairway metal comes with adjustable hosel.

 

The odyssey stroke lab lines are quite a performer too. For those who love and enjoy the white hot feel but incorporated with microhinge from the same material. Unlike oWorks where either you like it or you don’t. Matched with steel/carbon putter shaft. The balls rolled impressively amazing

Will try to compare against some top brands in the market that utilizes “grooves” face with SamPutt Lab.

The putter pictures are out in the forum and internet. Most favorite Odyssey models are available with slight tweaks in design and materials used

 

Can’t post anything until the green light for world launch or pre official launch but teasers might do for now.

After years of people complaining that they wanted more muted heads like pros... now these companies are saying people want to hear a loud explosive sound and equate that to distance. Have heard it from two companies. The face tech on this will sell big time. It’s a great narrative.

Like the finish on the new PM Grind. I assume Callaway will also released its forged version of the MD4 wedges. They've been on sale in Japan now for a month and a half. This would follow the pattern of the MD3 forged release.

Need an address pic for the PM grind - the current edition is just toooo BIG. And it's tough to beat the combo of Ping Stealth 56ES and 60SS. The sole of the PM is a copy of the Ping Eye 2 Grind (ES) and the grooves are a copy of Edel. The high toe? That's Phil and his flop.

Both adjustable. That must be a tour version.

 

Interesting that they went back to adjustable fairway woods after making the Rogues bonded. I much prefer the feel of the Rogues to any of the adjustable fairways I've played recently.

Yea I guess. I’m soured on it because they killled the U grind and said it is only satin chrome. Mostly the grind.
