Tossing the putter after a miss

I'm really, really over seeing pros toss their putter up in the air after a near miss.

 

Usually they catch it. Rory just missed his and let it fall on the green in the final round of the BMW Championship.

 

I don't like it because it's overly dramatic and petulant, but more so because it's exactly the kind of thing that easily seeps from the PGA Tour into your local foursome.

In my opinion everyone should be an absolute robot as to not disrespect this holy sport of golf with stupid traditions dating back to ancient times

 

Just like slavery I believe nothing should advance and change everything should've stayed the same as it did millenia ago. It keeps me up at night knowing not everyone dresses like Frances Ouimet and acts like Jack Nicklaus
