Will DJ be a Ryder Cup asset or liability?

Given the rumors swirling about a DJ and Paulina split do you think it could risk his performance at the Ryder Cup? Will Captain Furyk keep him on a short leash--- meaning if he fails he benches him for the rest of the tournament? Will the European fans heckle him in some way about this?

While dating Paulina might sound fantastic, having the Great One as your father-in-law to-be probably isn't the most ideal situation. I'm guessing if the split gets acrimonious, her army of lawyers could make DJ's life miserable for a while.

Interesting to see that there are actual printed reports about it now with an actual face connected to the story. Granted, they are tabloids, but they are often correct, or at least partially correct.

 

The story did perhaps get one detail wrong. Claiming she wasnt at Aronomink at all.

 

One of our WRX members was At Aronomink on Friday and firmly believes he saw Paulina leave the parking lot in a courtesy car by herself while DJ was still on the grounds. Possibly a doppelgänger, but he seemed pretty sure.

As for DJ, he will be fine. The dude is the biggest Alpha Male we have on the team and from what I can tell once he is inside the ropes he becomes a robot. He will be walking down the fairways with that gunslinger walk of his looking at all the pretty French Maids waiting to carry his sac...errrrr golf bag

could be different when it comes to family and the kids. But if the reports are true, it is the bed he chose to lay in. So maybe it won't affect him. I'd like to think he is somewhat of a better man than that. So to the OPs point, could have a negative affect on the RC.

 

I do find it odd that the first article says "their new found friendship" so maybe it is Paulina overreacting, but with the reports of his past, not sure it ever ends with just a 'friendship'

I feel that Wayne definitely has an idea of what DJ got into. Reminds me of when I broke up with my gf in college, I wanted to ask if I could still hang out/play golf with her dad.
