Eye2 should be on every list or its invalid

I think Cleveland TA7 are in the pantheon too. So good they remade them years later. To me they were the modern Eye2

Wilson Staff Blade (the choice of all serious golfers in my youth - 51yrs old)

Hogan Apex Redline 1988 (best muscleback ever)

Ping Eye 2 (I didn't like them but they're indisputably iconic)

AP2 (GI playability in a small/mid chassis)

Would love to include MP-33 but there are only 4 spots on Rushmore...

Hogan Red Line Blade

The Presidents on Mt. Rushmore are regarded as doing alot for the masses, hence the first 3 choices, also they where popular. The Hogan blade represents when that was predominantly the only choice. Probably better choices than the redline, but I like the script on the back of the club.

I don't know how you'd not have a Mac blade and a Wilson blade, given their history of use on the pro tours. I guess the Eye2 has to go in. I'd then add a Mizuno blade, again based on pro tour use over the years.

Mizuno blades are largely copies of old MacGregor designs. For that reason, I wouldn't include them.

For what little it's worth, my list:

Hogan Precision

Wilson Staff Dynapowers / Fluid Feels

Ping Eye2

Golden Ram Tour Grinds

I freely admit I'm going with a total bias pick for my fourth, instead of including the VIP/Muirfields. :pimp:

On that #4 pick I would not expect anything different from you :taunt: In fact surprised it was not #1 on your list

I *do* like Rams quite a bit, but I'm not completely blind to reality. LOL
