Love the top, bottom of the club looks like a knock-off of a TaylorMade driver. Again, if it performs, ultimately who gives a s***.

Wonder if the TM boys will be using the new driver heads this week at the TOC's ?

Yes, they will be:)

I’m guessing DJ will have to hit 5 wood instead of driver to keep from blowing it over the pin on that down hill par 4 he almost made in 1 last year ????

Ok! It's official, I'm getting the M5 Ti. Footprint looks perfect!

Ill be right there with you my man! TM did a great job looks wise, hopefully the performance will be there as well.

Im a big hype man for clubs too. But without a face depth shot and testing feel/sound its silly to think its an automatic buy. Its a very exciting release but this pic isnt enough to confirm much for anyone

Remember some users here have TM accounts and will do anyway.

Yep. I basically ordered the M6 after setting it on the ground. Haven’t hit it. Didn’t matter. Wanted it.

Or maybe this year he won't leave it a few inches short because everybody gets faster. :)

Sorry off topic.... why do they change color schemes every year ? I’m not a marketing expert, but it makes no sense to me !

Marketing period. With the amount of posts I’m surprised with the response.

You're right, it's marketing, but it's no different than other industries that use color in their products. If you use the same color scheme year after year, you run the risk of being perceived as old and stale by the market. Differentiating your current product line with a new color, hopefully one that's "in" at the time you release, helps increase desire by consumers. Remember when Apple released rose gold iPhones for the first time? Boom. Couldn't find them in stores for months.

Of course there's always the risk of alienating a select group of consumers if you pick the wrong colors, but on the whole it's worth the risk.

USGA list doesn't list M6 D-Type driver yet.. Nor does it list M6 fairway.. And confirms the listed M5/M5 rocket fairways will have "Twist Face".

they will have everything they always do, it hasnt changed in along time so whatever was available b4 will be this time around

Why rush to get the D Type approved when it will never see play on Tour like the other M5/M6 heads.

The only thing I’m not happy about is that there will be no M5 hybrid for 19.

Agreed. From what I've read in other reviews the M3 is more forgiving than the Gapr Hi. I want to custom order but there is only the 3H left. I don't get along with the shape of the M2/4 heads, wondering if the M6 will be more squared off.

FYI - The M3 hybrid is still available custom order through TM.

Gotta keep throwing it on the wall until something sticks. I don’t think anyone can look at the bottom a TM driver since the R9 and honestly say they look good. Maybe the original RBZ?

I know people will reply and say “who cares what the bottom of the club looks like”. I do! I play clubs that perform and also look good.

Could care a less if you think it’s silly or not. This will be an automatic buy for me to test against the other oems. This is a fairly common practice for me and many other club ho’s on this site.

Maybe silly was the wrong word. I buy as many as clubs as the biggest ho’s here but I need more than a sole pic. I stand by my statement but do wish for the m5 ti to be a hit. However I need more pics than the least useful of all, a sole pic. I also buy many clubs unseen too but with reviews from reputable sources who get their hands on clubs well before release. If I saw the back bumper of a car, I wouldn’t pre order it immediately. Y’all making it too easy for TM

That being said, the sole does look ok from what we can see from a black/white pic.

Any idea when we'll see price drops on M3/M4 series? I keep thinking it'll be anytime. Surprised they didn't drop for Holiday shopping. I like the M3 hybrid also and hit better than the GAPR.

M3/M4 probably won't drop in price, as the M5/6 are going up in price from previous generation. Most companies drop the previous generation prices because the new ones are coming in at the same price. But with the M5/6 coming in higher than original retail of the M3/4, that tiered pricing structure will already be in place (my opinion, have not heard anything from my rep on the matter).

Nah, no need to wait for others to review clubs when you can just buy them and do your own review “on course”. That’s the fun part about being a club ho, at least it is for me. Pre order early and get the club in hand early, that’s my process. To wait around for others to review a club is just silly to me when I know that I’m going to buy it anyways...

Back on topic - I am trying to get a full list of shaft options and pricing from my contact. Once received, I will post it for everyone.

If like last year, M4 will drop around time the M5/M6 releases. Doubt the M3 will drop since TM is almost sold out.

Interesting track design with the rear track allowing that weight to be placed into the front/back track part-way. Wonder if the M3 weights will work?
