Myrtle Beach Flooding

This isn't getting much attention outside of the Myrtle Beach area so I thought I'd post.

 

Dear True Blue Homeowner,

 

Georgetown County Emergency Management officials have informed us that the True Blue Plantation area could experience two to five feet of elevated water levels as a result of the rising river to our west. This most probably will cause isolation of some units, and some first floors condos could experience water intrusion.

 

We are currently making plans to shut down all electrical components inside your unit. We will be relocating reservations Thursday through Sunday and we will be reevaluating the situation regularly as information is available.

 

If this happens, courses like True Blue, Heritage, Caledonia and others could be under water. If you're planning a trip in the next few weeks, you may want to reach out to the travel company or courses to verify their condition after Sunday.

 

Thoughts and prayers to anyone in the area as if the Waccamaw river floods it's banks as projected this could cause significantly more damage to the area than Florence did.
