I use a watch and it gives me front/middle/back yardages. I could never justify spending the cash on a rangefinder even though I think it would be great for hazards/layups!

I currently use a small golf GPS. It gives me front, middle, and back as well as distance to hazards. I'm interested to see what if any effect having a precise distance to the pin or carry distances might have on my game.

 

Also, I'm also very interested in the slope feature.

I signed up. I believe a range finder would be an essential piece of equipment for any golfer. I have played the guess yardages game then compared my guess to others range finders and GPS units and I am usually off. Sometimes as much as 20 yards. Slope would be a bonus.

I have an old GPS that only give front, back and middle distances. A range finder would give a more exact distance. Also it could be used at the range to see how far I'm really hitting (not that the balls are any good.)

I want to win because my current range finder is at least 10 years old and I am not sure if it give me the correct yardages anymore. It would be nice to have a new one so I am confident in the yardage it tells me I have to the flag. Also my current range finder is kind of big and bulky and this one looks more compact.
