i love these balls. i love they way they feel when struck. they spin on the greens when necessary, and they are CHEAP. i just cant see paying $45 for 12 balls when at the moment you can buy 24 of these for $19.99 at any retail store (cheaper online). and i honestly cant tell the difference between this ball and the prov1 anyway

These are the balls to use if u're really inconsistent and prone to loose balls. You get excellent distance and so-so on the "greens" performance.

Care to explain why you should use these "if u're really inconsistent"?

I really like the Laddie X because of the "soft" feel off the club face and nice control around the greens.

I meant if you have an inconsistent swing (as I do) and prone to sending the ball towards neverland (in the rough) off the tee box... then, it doesn't hurt as much (if lost), as these balls (the Laddie X's), they're just very cost effective. I mean, where are you gonna get decent balls like these at these prices.

P.S. - I'm glad u can control them on the greens, because I, more often than not, can't...

This is my "everyday" ball. Oh, I treat myself to a more expensive ball at times, like the NXT Extreme, Srixon Trispeed and Srixon AD333 but I play these most of the time. Because of their low compression, they are great for slower swingers (SS is 87) and they feel soft off of every club, including the putter, even though the cover is pretty hard -- the hard cover makes it pretty durable. Of course, their biggest performance asset is distance -- this ball placed in the top 10 in the Golf/Golf Digest Magazine ball test. Now, at less than $20 for TWO dozen, this ball is the best value in golf balls.

I like these, $20 for a double dozen doesn't hurt so bad when you lose them :)

That being said, they do feel slightly clicky off the driver/hybrids, but they fly well and the feel is hardly noticeable.

I have not been able to spin these off a green, but they will stick and spin back a little bit if hit well.

haven't made up my mind with the putter yet, pinnacle plat's feel great, I'm still debating about these.

overall well worth the $$ though.

I bought a double dozen myself to use as balls in "trouble" situations. Saves a little money. I don't feel sacrificed at all, you know I used to like a Precept long ago after they came out, so I had a positive mindset going in, and these balls don't disappoint for 10 bucks a dozen. +1 It's nicer to pull one of these out than an old hard feeling topflight or something for those situations where you don't want to loose a 3.50 ball! I'm not sold on putting with them as much as a Pro-V1, but overall hits, are not disappointing at all.
