It's an excellent experience. You're at the back of the range of Lake Nona and the Lake Nona people make you feel welcome there. I've done 2 fittings there and the first time Ian Poulter and his son were about 50 yards away working on their game and the second time Henrik Stenson was out there. So, that's kinda cool.

Anyway, if you're fitting for the driver, you'll be fitted outdoors. With the irons/wedges, you're hitting from inside the studio, but the ball goes outdoors so you can see the entire flight. They just have you hit in their studio with irons because they are using Trackman and the divots can sometimes cause Trackman not to read.

This is a brand agnostic fitting. They have virtually every major company head and shaft available.

They first measure you and your current equipment and then have you try a few different heads and shafts until you get the best fit. For instance, I ended up with Callaway Rogue SubZero driver with an Aldila Rogue shaft, a Callaway Rogue SubZero 3-wood with a Veylix shaft and TaylorMade P790 irons with Accra shafts.

The same with the putter fitting. They have a bunch of putter heads with interchangeable shafts. So let's say they determine that an EVNROLL putter head works best for you, they can change the shaft to see how you work with different shaft lengths and different grips.

If you're doing a full bag fitting...pace yourself. You will get tired from hitting so many balls. If you're doing a full bag fitting, you may want to see if you can make it a 2-day fitting (the cost should still be the same) where you work on the woods and hybrids 1 day, then the irons, wedges and putter the next day.

The only issue you may find is that they only offer ala carte pricing. So, if you are fitted for a Titleist TS2 driver with a Graphite Design shaft and a golf pride grip, they'll charge you whatever the full price for the driver is (say $499), then the full price for the shaft (let's say $300) and the grip (let's say $8). Then they'll charge your for labor. And then you end up with a driver that is billed at $850.

You do not have pay for the club. But, you'll probably have some sticker shock when they give you the quote. If you are willing to put together clubs yourself, you could probably get the driver with the same components, brand new, for $500 by looking around on eBay.

But outside of the sticker shock and getting worn out by hitting a lot of golf balls...it's the best way to find out what clubs fit you the best.

Did anybody tried true spec miami ?

There are several fitting options in Orlando - one of which being club champion off of Turkey Lake Rd. I would inquire with them.
