Finally got out to the range today to hit the atx green 70tx I bought off gioguy after the tip on my synergy split do to shoddy clubmaking on my part. Thing is sweet has that same smooth feel as the synergy but a little tighter and you can just tell it is super duper low spin. And it looks “epic” with my subzero head cranked open.

Very similar except considerably more stable

I have the atx green proto 70tx and I would definitely say a decrease in spin, but generally speaking ball speed only increases with faster swing speed.

Ball speed can increase from a counterbanced shaft, or a lighter shaft. This shaft is not counter weighted. The main function is to create low spin with a shaft that doesn't feel overwealming. We have guys from 105 up in TX with great results.

Bringing this thread back to life. I have a 65 and 75 TX greens inbound to experiment with! I couldn’t pass up the deal I got on them to I figured I’d try them both. Excited for next weekend!

Realize nobody has posted here in forever, but I picked up a Tour Blue Graphene in 70 TX by chance in a driver I bought used, and I'm trying to figure out a) what the uncut weight of the shaft is; and b) if there's a tip to graphics measurement I can use to figure out how much it has been tip trimmed. Anybody have thoughts on either of these?

 

Total long shot since I imagine everybody has moved on to newer and more exciting offerings, but figured it was worth a try.
