Ok Im in freeze mode outside of driver shaft. Coming off some injury rehab (as always) and need to figure out how I'll be swinging driver moving forward. Rest of the bag I absolutely love and cant wait to show off in witb section once everything is built up. Here we go

I've been out for quite a while because of a bad driver choice in December, but I've actually been remarkably solid on 13 clubs in my bag. Putter has been a revolving door for me and I tested out a hybrid that didn't stick, but other than that I haven't really changed anything since January. I lost this battle early, but the club-hoing war has been going much better than in past years.

I'm just trying to pat myself on the back a little before I go to a demo day Saturday. Very high likelihood that another putter or driver ends up coming home with me.

LOL I never got in this because I have so much stuff I change from week to week--- And what is so bad I find more stuff most every week. But changing around is part of my fun now along with tinkering with stuff I pick up. I was never a club ho type until I ended up co owning a golf shop and now working for a metal recycling company I find lots of good stuff. Looking back I played the same set of irons for 20 plus years same putter for 23 years.

Committing to this challenge seems to have been good for me so far. Since I've been cleared to play again after my surgery, I've focused on learning to play with the clubs in my bag, particularly pitching, chipping, and putting. I played my first tournament of the season yesterday and won my flight. I credit this to two things: Keeping my full swings in play, and my vastly improved short game.

Well I finally have all my clubs in hand but I'm probably going to be out after my third or fourth round since I want to try different putters out. But for sh*ts and gigs here is my bag, I'll post again when I'm out.

 

* **Driver:** Ping G410 Plus - 9 degree, draw - Tour 65S - shaft may change mid way through the year.

* **Fairway:** Cobra F7 - 15.5 degree, draw - Tensei Blue 65S - this is up for replacement come fall.

* **Hybrid** Titleist 816H1 - 20 degree, slight draw - Diamana S+ 60R - To be replaced in fall, using this to get a feel for hybrids.

* **Irons:** Srixon Z585/Z785 Combo - AMT Tour White S300

* **Wedges:** MD3 52 - Glide 2.0 Stealth 56 - Glide 60

* **Putter:** Edel E-3

 

This will be my bag for majority of the year. The Edel putter I'll probably use 90% of the time just have a few others I want to try on the greens but may just use them on practice greens before actual rounds. The Fairway and Hybrid I won't be replacing until the Fall most likely unless the Fairway and Hybrid I want to switch out because that will be a gapping issue for me.

My 2019 bag I switch out the Callaway 2013 x-forged for the Titleist 718 AP3s. I also added a Scotty Cameron to my bag as well.

So far I am loving the AP3 irons more and more as I get used to them.

My annual I'm out marker. Could have called it earlier but wanted to be sure, lot of early season fiddling.

Decided to go M4 16.5 with Atmos R, Cally OS 19 hybrid recoil ES F4 up top and a switch to SC Studio Stainless at bottom. PING G 10.5 with Alta R stays.

Irons will be Cobra Amp Pro forged 4-G with pxi 5.5 or 2008 AP2 4-P with KBS Tour S shafts and TM CB 51. Will depend on day and mood.

SM7 56 and 60 for greenside and short shots.

I put Cally Epic pros, Steelhead XRs, Ping I25 and TM Speedblades through the paces to no avail.

Hope I can leave the weather gear home soon. Every round so far has been cold, wet slogging.
