But I just wanted to share and give props to DD for their superior service on my two recent orders. Great people to deal with and won’t buy a new club through anyone else!

How does DD work? I have visited their website before and it doesn't have prices so I didn't take it any further. Do you call and they give you a price, or do you make an offer, or is it a negotiation? Just curious as I may be buying a new set of irons soon.

Can call or send an email. I’ve always just sent an email with the exact specific things I want down to L/L/L, grips/wraps or anything else I want custom and they shoot me back a price. Then fill out an order form online and it’s on its way.

wish they would update the pingwrx options? Seems like only place that can get this done? If you saw this sho in person it would blow your mind.. small shop on Oregon coast. IMO the best business model for hard goods....

They sell everything below the OEMs MAP pricing so if they posted their prices they wouldn’t have accounts. As someone who works in the industry I can’t stand DD’s.

Actually, any PING account can get the exact same options through PING's WRX account. We are all given a catalog with those options listed. If your local proshop/golf retailer sells PING, they can get the exact same WRX options. Now...whether they will or not, that's a different story. But I've ordered customized clubs through WRX no issue.

If companies want to strictly enforce pricing be my guest but that’s the day I’ll stop buying new clubs ever year and buy every three years. Hope they adjust their product cycles

I'm pretty sure Discount Dan's has run afoul of PINGs pricing policy in the past, and from what I understand now strictly abides by it. PING will hold no punches in protecting their pricing structure.
