Taylormade M6 On EBay

I held that clubhead in my hand last week, it’s extremely legit. As has been said, you need look no further than their feedback on eBay to know it’s for real. I’ve bought from and traded clubs back into these guys and I think they run a very fair business. Fortunate to live so close to their shop which they open to the public twice a week.

my goodness would i be in trouble if i lived close enough to drive to that shop...

No kidding. They have a pretty impressive inventory. I wonder how they come across some of their stuff. I know they'll buy used clubs. But with the amount of tour and limited stuff, I'd imagine they have some sort of connection.

Aldo, is it me, or does 199 grams with an adapter seem pretty light these days?

Perfect for adding hot melt.

No hotmelt options here. If I can add a heavier screw though, I'll be alright.

If they go after this guy then they suck more as a company than I first thought.......add a couple of screws to the face and tell us how much it’s going to help us.....,laughable. Screws are from the woods of the 80s when I started playing. No one touted them helping then......out of ideas to increase profit margins. Might as well look to the past I guess

You only have to look at ProClubs reputation on EBay to know that this was a legit sale, The only way TM would have been able to stop that Auction is to have Bought that Head, ProClubs business model as been the selling of Tour Issue Clubs That they've purchased off Tour Players, Caddies, Friends Of Players/Caddies etc, There is no way they would throw this contact under the bus, Looks Like a Rep as cashed in for some extra Cash this side of Xmas as for an embargo on pics, I don't Think ProClubs have an account with TM to sell new clubs so would not have signed any contract. It is quite possible that This as been snagged by Another OEM for Testing etc.

I mean, I did see what seemed to be a fake pxg 0811x listed by proclubs on ebay, so I'm not sure about their rep

https://rover.ebay.c...tm/352547627506

If that's not fake then Im clearly lost.

That was the proto to the 0811x. I had one itwas great stick. That is 100% PXG.

And SOLD.... for 4 times what it will cost after it’s actually released.

Someone is really impatient or just so wealthy they simply dont care.

Retail on the M6 I believe is going to be $500... so only twice as much

No my friend, I meant what I said. 4 times as much. You’ll be able to buy a just a head for $300 very soon after it’s released.

You can hot melt any driver. If it doesn’t have a hot melt port you can drill drill one.

This one has a weight screw in the back of the head and the screw hole surely goes all the way through into the head.

Those holes are always big enough for a melt needle. Easy peasy.

And the even more pathetic thing is someone actually paid that ridiculously obscene price...

I hope both get nailed by TM.

What's genuinely pathetic is your caring what someone does with their money.

I would argue that someone caring about someone caring about what someone spends is even more pathetic.

But I won’t because then someone will argue that someone caring about someone caring about someone caring about what someone spends is more pathetic than the person I was suggesting was pathetic.

Notice the uncertainty I manifested in my tone? Anticipating I could be wrong, perhaps?

No need to look for me buddy, but ok.

Ditto, great guys to deal with. Which is not really good for me as I like trying different driver shafts.

My favorite place/way to buy shafts. Very reasonable prices and a great selection at all times.

There is access through the hosel for hot melt. Same as M3/4.

Now I really want one. But not 1200 dollars right now want. Looks like a really solid club.

How long we've come. $1200 for a pre-release tour issue driver.

Bighitter used to have people paying that much for tour issue drivers that were released already. Convincing people that they were hand selected to be 30 yards longer and straighter. He even had the launch monitor data to back it up.

What are the screws attached to inside the head, is it some sort of bracing structure similar to jailbreak?

(Sorry if I missed something obvious)

The ones on the face are so the user can secure a super strong head cover for travel. It’s carbon fiber and nearly indestructible.

Which screws do you refer to? “Inside” the head?

Check the very long thread about the m5/m6 lineup. The screws either connect a plate behind the face and the pocket is filled with resin, or the screws are the holes that are used to fill the pocket between the face with resin. Either way, there's resin.

More resin than you can poke a stick at. Quality resin too.

Any quality resin under the Christmas tree this morning?

Santa is in south America still. We won’t know for several hours yet. Gah!
