New wedge suggestions ( my last set of Nike heads )

Hi all

Well I have shafted up my last set of Nike engage wedges.

I play a standard sole 50*

Toe sweep 54*

Dual sole 60*.

Played them since release and stock bought heads.

Now I'm going to need to start testing wedges now to finalize what will be going in the bag for the following season. Once I find a head I like in wedges I stick with it. Love the weight and feel

My first thought was just to get artisan to make me exact copy of the grinds and weight.

Welcome all suggestions.

Nike wedges, those were awesome, I think if you played Nike dual sole, you would like SM7 L grind or M, also Ping TS glide stealth, for 54 I would try callway way MD 4 wide, Awesome from the bunkers

Try and get in to see Mike Taylor at Artisan. You will not be disappointed. He’s made me two sets of his wedges and they are absolutely incredible. Better than Miura, PXG, Honma, Epon, Yuyuri, and so forth. I own all kinds of wedges and his craftsman ship and detail is spot on. My entire fitting was done with his old Nike wedges. You’ll feel right at home.

Try and get in to see Mike Taylor at Artisan. You will not be disappointed. He’s made me two sets of his wedges and they are absolutely incredible. Unfortunately most of us can’t make it to Texas for a fitting. Any word when the wedges will be made available to the public?

I would fly down right now if they selected me for a wedge fitting. I've been waiting ever since the email went out for our specs, after ordering my putter last year

I just pulled the trigger on a Glide Stealth 2.0 in 50SS and 54SS. Early range sessions have been amazing, very forgiving in the 50. I also purchased a TM HiToe 60 ATV. I need to get some rounds in with them all.

Let me know how you get on OP, as I haven't hit anything yet that can get close to the Engages I have currently - just had a game on holiday in Gran Canaria where they proudly told me I had rented a set of 3 week old clubs with SM7s for wedges, a whilst they were OK, they were nowhere near as good as the Engages. They were OK on full shots, but absolute garbage round the greens - very little feel and missing that head heavy feel that works so well with the Engages.

I'm hoping Artisan can look after the UK before they wear out, otherwise Vega seem to be an option - similar head shape and can be fitted to feel like an Engage.

I think all his wedges are bespoke. He spent over two hours with me going over every detail. I learned an incredible amount in those two hours. I think his niche is custom fitting and not a general public version.
