There have been some threads on tendinitis but I haven't seen one on bursitis. About a month ago I came down with bursitis in my right elbow. I had it drained a couple of times and now just treating it with heat. I tried playing on Sunday and had to quit after nine holes because at impact the pain would just shoot through my elbow....I started flinching on every shot.. Has anyone played through this? Is there a special brace you can buy or is rest the only answer? I've had tendinitis multiple times but this is the first time for bursitis and I think it's much more painful.

Had it several years ago.  Ice and compression sleeve are what did it for me.  YMMV
